Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD

Really happy to find peeps out there talking about this DVD. I just started today too. Level 1. My question is this; how do I calculate the calories burned? Do I have to watch and get each and every exercise then add? I'm determined to keep on track through the holidays so any pointers would be very much appreciated.

Hey, I'm 5'3" and 144lbs and guesstimate my burn to be approximately 100 calories for every 10 minutes of exercise. So for 30ds I put 250 cal burn as I prefer to underestimate just in case.

Using a heart rate monitor is the only way to get a true accurate reading. But before I got one of those, I always logged it as Calisthenics.

I'm 5"4 and 127lb, I put it as 'circuit training' on MFP which comes to 138 calories for the 18 minutes. I have just done day 18, and had no breaks, so pretty pleased :) How did you find day 1?

When I did it, I logged it as 20 minutes of circuit training as well. :)
