6000 calories or bust.
And in spirit of my usual SOP- I'm going to have a max/min limit for myself.
I fully expect to be a minimum of 4000 calories- but I'd like to hit 6... because- what's the point of a challenge if you don't really apply yourself.
I know MrM is in and I think ndj1979 threatened as well.
why you ask? because- protein... brotein- I needs it.
Also- double bonus points if you use your food scale for accuracy... I MAY actually have to go buy a new one- since I left mine at home- and at the very least I'd love to know how much turkey I ate... because- science and all.
Let the feasting begin!!!!

I will try it.
I don't plan on weighing my foods, but I plan on eating.
So I will try to snap pics.0 -
Pictures are a bonus.
I'm pretty much expecting to not move- I love food- and I love good homemade food- last year I think we did steaks- lots and lots of steaks... so it's going to be nice to do a real thanksgiving dinner- it's been a while since I've gotten to participate.
Pretty much the same boat as you- I plan on eating. happily and fully.0 -

A quick prelog of everything puts me at 7000ish.

Damn I prelogged and coming up short only 3000.. but that's without booze ... I'll be minimum 4000 but will try for 6000 always up for a challenge0
-
oh pre-log- I like it. <hustles off to fill in today and thursday>
does all you can eat sushi give me a head start today?0 -
I'll give it a try! I don't think I've ever eaten that much in one day without getting sick so I'll have to be strategic about it.0
-
-
I'm a horrible enabler- we go every 2-3 weeks to AYCE.
nomnomnom #fatkidproblems0 -
I'm with you all in spirit!
Can't wait to see the results.0 -
I can't pre-log, as I am not cooking anything....
But I will try to guess if I can.0 -
I think most everyone doing any calorie counting will be "best guessing" I mean really if you aren't cooking all of it- and you aren't using a scale- that's the best you have!
Best guesses are welcomed0 -
I'm in! I'm not supposed to be on my phone at the dinner table, but I think if I tell them about the challenge, they'll let me. I mean, it's an AWESOME challenge!0
-
in for the awesome.
I'm sure they'll let you play if it's for a good cause!0 -

I feel like in the interest of fairness we should really exclude pre-day numbers.
But it would be fun (since I know people take several days sometimes with their families) to see a week total - and how bad the damage was LOL. I did pretty well all in all today- i ate a little "lite" for my normal AYCE fair- but still- food coma- I'd like to go home- rather than teach dance at 6 PM. I need a NAP!!!!0 -

In. Because pregnant, hormonal, and hangry are the perfect recipe for a gluttonous holiday.
Are we talking 6000 for the whole day or for the one meal? Because that makes a difference.0 -
whole day... but for many people- whole day = one meal on T-day. LULZ.

4000 will be easy first pre log I forgot lots like the stuffing and gravy, so minimum 5000/goal over 6000
Oh and thanks got sushi so I'm not jealous anymore0 -
I think I can handle eating 6000 on turkey day!!! so I'm up for a good challenge..0
-
I'm in. I will not hesitate to order extra butter on my popcorn at the movies and I will enjoy every ounce of my movie Dr. Pepper. And this will all be before the big meal takes place. This is the kind of challenge I can really sink my teeth into!0
-
Hey I am so IN it' not even funny. I am only going to eat 3k cals and I will drink the other 3k so excuse me if I stop logging at some point, I am intoxicated0

I have an unfair advantage. It's my wife's birthday on the 27th. And her favorite cake is cheesecake. So, we are so going to consume T-Day and B-Day calories all in 1 day.0
