:c I've been struggling with self control, too much junk food. Been around the same weight for months.

My normal weight that I maintained for about 6-7 years from high school until after college graduation was 143-146 lbs, but after going from a physically demanding job where I was at my healthiest (130 lbs, hiking all day, great nutrition because I had to cook everything) to a desk job, I gained a lot of weight back. I want to get back to that healthy state so that I can feel that great again.
  • I have to say, as I get older, the goal weight gets higher.....

I have dropped about 13 pounds in 14 days on my new diet plan. I am hoping that within the 30 days that I can drop between 30-35 pounds which will get me to 155 pounds. Anything less then that is a great bonus. Eventually in the next 3-4 months I would like to reach about 125 which I think will be ideal for my height.

    Start - 212
    Current - 186
    Goal - 160

My old goal was 180 and I felt little difference when I got there, then gained back. It feels far away now...

HC there are a lot of numbers and letters on this post. I love seeing people with a SW of 200+ and a CW of something below 200: Good for you! That's amazing!.

I was 213 once but it's been a long time.

    SW: 180 in September
    CW: 165
GW: 150 but because of MFP, I think I'm going to try for 125. Last time I weighed 125 I was in middle school. But I wonder if I'll lose a lot of muscle. I'm going to get my body fat measured then estimate my lean mass so I can figure out how much I weigh all muscle. Then I'll know if 125 is too small.

    I'm 5"5.5 and a mom of 3 girls.
Starting weight: Depends when "starting is." I've been everywhere from 115 to 170.
    Current weight: 155
Goal weight: This is tough. Whatever I weigh when I'm at about 17% body fat again. Could be anywhere from 130-145.

Feel free to add me :)

Hoping to get back to my high school weight. I am not really fat, just have a lot of muscle from playing sports than I am hoping to tone down some.

When I got out of high school (and we won't say when that was), I was 5'6 112 lbs. I've been all over the board since. I wore a size 3 petite.

At 33 years old, I started dancing low impact country and western. I was 117 lbs at 33 years old. I liked being that thin. I do think that's fairly unrealistic for me now.

Now, I think I could be happy at 135 to 140, but I'm not sure if I will ever see that again. I just lost 5 lbs and it was like pulling teeth, but I have injuries that make exercise impossible. Maybe after I lose a few more pounds it won't be such a stress on those areas.
It's winter and spring will help.

I've always thought 125 lbs was good weight for my height but I haven't seen that for some time and I haven't a clue how I would ever reach it.

I take short goals. My first was 5 lbs. I've lost 5.5 and am on target with what mfp said I would be.
