Still so far to go, I know! But I'm 5'2 and I have lost weight before.
The first collage is from 2009. I lost about 70 pounds. The second is from this year (I've had two more children since the last pictures) The before is from a wedding in the beginning of August, I was somewhere between 246 and 256. The second is from October 29th, and I was at 230. I've lost a couple more since then. Like I said, still a ways to go, but I thought I'd throw mine in

This is me at 131.8 (my starting weight was actually 136) and me at 122.8. I have lost nearly 14 lbs. This is the first time in my life that I have had the stamina to lose weight at all. I plan on hitting 115 or 110 and maintaining from there. I have not decided yet. I AM SHORT AND I AM PROUD! Add me!!2 -
I am 5'2'' if you wanted to know!

5' here, 24 years old. I'm about 100lbs (first picture) and I started at about 130lbs (second picture). It took me about 1 year to lose that weight. My goal weight was 100. I lost mainly through diet, but I started lifting weights (deadlift, squat, benchpress, etc) this summer and fell in love. I jog 3-4x a week, somewhere between 3-5 miles and do yoga once in a blue moon, when my hips beg me to finally stretch. Thanks for posting this thread! It is awesome seeing fellow shorties!!

I was in a similar position, having lost about 30 pounds and then maintained around 104-105 lbs. for a couple years at 5'2". Did you find you gained some weight after starting to seriously lift?0 -
Yes, I've gained a few pounds. I actually lost weight to 97lbs (not pictured) and then gained a couple pounds from lifting (shown in that picture). In my experience, gaining muscle weight made me look slimmer and feel healthier/better. I lost body fat, too. I'm about 19% BF now, 102lbs, and a size 00 pants.0

I am 5'1'' and currently at 178. I am 43 y.o. Tried to lose weight and gave up many times, so I am starting again now. Previously I was able to lose 20 lbs max. Hope to be successful with this latest attempt. I am starting to feel effects of excess weight on my health now.0
