One day at a time in JANUARY

I have been doing this since last month, but December wasn't good. Can't blame though, festival season always is.
Let's hope January is better. Starts Jan 1st, 2015.
Anybody wishing to join is welcome. :)
xoxo
Rubina.

Day by day, minute by minute-its the only way. Then youll start noticing your losing some weight and you wanna keep doing good! Then youll love the way clothes fit you better. What I like about MFP is that I can always come to the community for free support. Im here now for inpiration. Im caving a little during the holidays and I DONT wanna blow it. Im starting now, Will continue thru Jan. Good luck everybody! We can do this!

I hope I can be of help. To use this forum for best support, try to come back to it and share how your day was. Did you achieve your goals for that day? If yes, celebrate. If no, what mistakes did you make and how you plan to avoid it in future?
Good luck! We got this. :)

    So here's Day 1 report.
Ate within my calorie limit, but couldn't exercise, due to load of studies as well as cold. I'll get in a run tomorrow. :)
  • Im in. I started in November. I was doing good until the holidays. Any ideas on ways to exercise without having a huge gym? Thanks

    Hi. Welcome. :)
As for exercise ideas without gym, why don't you try workout dvds or youtube videos. Here's a list of my favorites:
    DVDs:
    1. Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred. My personal favorite.
    2. Insanity: Jillian is not so preferred by guys, so you might like this one. For me, its a little too intense.
    3. P90X: Never done it, but it's on my wishlist coz I have heard sooooo much about it.

    Youtube channels:
    1. BeFit: My favorite ever. Lots of variety, Lot of professional trainers.
    2. Fitness Blender: Awesome workout vids without those funky tassels.
    3. Sean Vigue Fitness: Amazing Yoga workflows.

    Hope this helps. :)

I'm in. I've only got 7 to lose and right now I'm losing inches slowly but no more weight loss. Guess that's good but my Dr looks at that number, nothe my hip measurement.

Yes i am in! I need to make overwelming life changes and trying to get 60 lbs off to be at a much healthier and fitter state looks impossible. I fail because i try to do it all. So this time I am doing it right. Small pieces, looking at today only. Just for today each morning and a few pieces to accomplish in health and other, just for the day. Looking foward to support here and hope i can give some back.

Those 60 lbs will be gone for good with this attitude. You can do it. I hope to prove helpful. :)

I'm in. I thought I posted to this yesterday but guess I didn't. Anyway I'm proud of myself for staying under my calories allowed yesterday. Today is a new day to work on and I aim to be diligent.

I'm feeling adequately inspired and disciplined right now. Now the focus is not to let the flow disrupt.

I'm in. I'm new to the site and need inspiration. I've decided my motto is 50 at 50. I just turned 50 a week ago and need to loose 50 lbs.

I've got to get healthy so I can keep up with my grandson

I feel pretty good today, according to mfp I earned 583 calories due to my daily exercise but I didn't eat them so I'm feeling accomplished today.

I'm in too! I have quite a bit more to lose than anyone else, I need to lose over 100 lbs. I was under calories for the day though so I have conquered day one! :) Weekends are hard at my house bc my hubby isn't on board but I will do this with or without him, need to do this for me!

That's so good! Even I don't eat my exercise calories back coz I calculated my caloric limit taking my lightly active lifestyle into consideration.
