Wow, you look great! You look slimmer than me in the after and I'm 5'7" and 127. My stomach is flat but my legs are still pretty big.0

I will definitely do that
Thank you, all. You are so nice. I just want anybody who is working at improving your health to know that you can do it. It takes hard work and you will have up and down days but the saying "don't let perfect be the enemy of good" really holds here. However you define a bad day (slip ups with food, stinky workout, etc.) remember that it's just one bad day and doesn't have to turn into a lifetime. Be kind to yourself on those days and it will propel you to better things.0 -
Very motivating! Thank you for sharing....I hope to have a similar story at the end of 2015.0

Oh, I know. I can remember feeling like that when I started my first diet ever at 148 pounds. I wish I could go back and tell myself to focus more on overall fitness rather than scale weight. Silly young thing.

C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S!!!!!!!! You look fabulous. Very similar story in some ways. I'm 5'6" and weighed 199 as of last week. I also had the same revelation as you - either do something about it or quit complaining. I'm a bit older - 54 - but as I read your story I saw a lot of my own struggle. Thanks for sharing!!!0

Thank you so much for your post! I am in a funk weighing the most I ever have in my life. I'm only 5'2" and I now weigh 183 lbs!
I have no idea how to limit refined carbs and would appreciate any advice you could provide. I just bought a fitbit and am tracking my burn as well as what I eat. Thanks for any advice you could provide!0 -
Yay for you! Your hard work has paid off...you look great! And it sounds like you feel great, too. Thanks for inspiring me to get back on track!0

LOVE THIS POST. I'm not so far from 200lbs, and a former refined carb junkie too. I'm excited for this to be me next year0

I have been down about my age, making it more difficult to lose and get in shape. But now, seeing this and how fabulous you look? And you did it just a bit at a time! I'm very inspired. Thanks for sharing! Good luck with the rest!0
