    It isn't that I don't support your right to diet your way and I'm not trying to lecture you out of it. I just had to say it. Please don't take it as criticism because it isn't. I know that not everyone cares about their health at every stage of their life and they all have the right to work on their own goals!

    For weight loss, it won't matter. You can lose weight without a healthy diet. It's all about the calories. If you keep the calories low enough, you'll lose weight.

    N=1 as always, but my serum cholesterol went down, my HDL went up and LDL went down with keto. I have the paperwork somewhere if you'd like to see?

    It's 1tbs of fat (mayo, butter, coconut) to each egg. Minimum of 6 eggs per day. People lose weight very quickly. But I can't get my head around eating all those calories and still lose weight. Keto and low carbers use it if they've plateaued. The carbs for the day are around 5

    Was there a maximum number of eggs? Because 6 eggs plus 1 tbs mayo each, is only about 1020 calories. I can eat up to 2000 calories and still lose, so it's not necessarily a ton of calories.

    no maximum. Some folks eat 12 everyday.

    no maximum. Some folks eat 12 everyday.

    That's about 2040 calories if they eat nothing else.

    Yep. I'm still struggling to get my head around eating that many calories and still lose weight!
    Some do the egg fast a few times a week and regular LCHF for the rest of the days.
    There's a Facebook group called: Egg fast-stall breaker diet. It has loads of info.

    I am not on Keto...just eating healthy, wise choices and portion moderation and lost 54.9 pound in 3 months. (started the first of October 2014)

    Its all about Calorie in vs Calorie out.

    some people do actually have a broken metabolism, A reg diet does not work for me, but I would never criticize what works for someone else. Being in menopause and no gallbladder, I had never been able to lose my abdominal fat, but it all changed with keto, I just do better on high fat, low carb. I am a nurse and have studied everything on keto. My Dr who also does nutritional medicine thinks it is a good diet. You just have to make sure you drink enough water so you don't get dehydrated. Fat fast is really not that bad(this is the first time I ever did it) I lost 5 pounds in 3 days, and when I added back some carbs and proteins, I gained about a pound back, but I stayed in ketosis, and I am back to losing. I wouldn't do all eggs on a fat fast. You can check out my diet while on the fat fast.
