"Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive.
I have a precious human life. I am not going to waste it.
I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others, to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings.
I am going to have kind thoughts towards others.
I am not going to get angry or think badly about others.
I am going to benefit others as much as I can."

Incredibly inspiring words when you think about it... so very true!0 -
Giving is so often thought of in terms of the things we give, but our greatest giving is of our time, and kindness, and even comfort for those who need it. We look on these gifts as unimportant – until we need them0

Oh.....! This should so be placed about every 10 posts in on the 'new beginner gym noobs in Jan.' threads... ugh (don't care much for those threads..least not the negative posts in them) Absolutely, we ALL were new at one time or another, on here, at a gym, at a school, it doesn't matter where. One would think we would actually gain patience rather than impatience when we encounter new folks doing what we've already learned in the past.
Glad you took time to post your quote!0 -

The Problem with Over-Thinking
1. It increases your anxiety, your worry, and your dread.
2. It makes you feel confused, so that it’s really hard to think.
3. It can blind you to “the obvious”, and what is best for you
4. It can keep you feeling stuck so that you wait too long to act
5. It can interfere with hearing what your heart says you should do.
6. Thus, it can limit your success as you’re afraid to take that step!
