I bought and tried some Trader Joe's Nonfat Greek Yogurt and found that it was kinda "grainy" is that how all Greek yogurt is? What other brands do you recommend?

Chobani is the best in my opinion.0

I really like Fage and they have great prices on it at Costco!0
-
Fage or Chobani are the ones I eat. I don't like the others!0
-
Fage... very thick, but smooth.0
-
I agree! Chobani or Fage are the two I always get, and they rock!0

DANNON IS DELICIOUS0

Chobani is the best. Shouldn't be grainy. Should be tangy and super duper creamy. I buy the plain nonfat Chobani and use it as a substitute for sour cream. Love it.0

Chobani is yummy, but I can't afford it. The Dannon greek yogurt is good, and they have fruit on the bottom varieties. It's smooth, and is fairly low in sugar compared to some other brands.0

Chobani
Chobani is great, the dark cheery is by far the best0 -
I actually like the Yoplait Strawberry Greek yogurts. They're small size - 4 ounces, which is good for me, because I haven't quite gotten used to the thicker texture of greek yogurt. (weirds me out a little),0

Chobani seems to be the most popular...the flavored kind anyway, though I haven't tried them yet.....I use Yoplait 0 fat 2x protein plain greek yogurt....I don't eat it plain(yuck), but I use it in place of sour cream on mexican dishes....add some ranch seasoning and it's great with veggies....and I put it in smoothies........0

I would definitely not classify Greek yogurt as grainy. In fact it is usually quite smooth and creamy. I like the Chobani and Fage nonfat plain Greek yogurt, but I like the Chobani a little bit better.0

Just tried Oikos Blueberry, and I thought the exact same thing, had a very powdery taste. I didn't care for it at all! Will have to try the Chobani! Thanks for the post!0

I saw that Chobani's natural yogurt has more sugar's than Kroger´s.
I haven't tried chobani's, but I like Kroger's a lot already.0 -
I think Fage is the best!0

Ive had yoplait, fage, oikos and chobani. I like chobani the best, but I didnt have a problem with any of them. I have never noticed one to be grainy. I would try a different kind.0

I'm gonna throw out a new one: Voskos! I just had the honey yesterday and am going to try the strawberry this afternoon. It's delicious, and completely smooth.
(PS, I bought it because it was cheaper than Chobani!)0 -
I'm another Chobani lover over here!0

I've had Oikos, Chobani and Fage.
Fage was the best, then Chobani. Did not care for Oikos at all.0 -
I've never tried Fage. I really like Chobani though.0
-
I like Stonyfield. Really thick and creamy. I also substitute for sour cream.0
-
Fage, Chobani, and Oikos are all good. It's not supposed to taste "grainy" as far as I know. It's a bit bitter, but that's why you add fruit and things to it.0

I really like Chobani and Brown Cow - both are all natural and cost about the same. I'm not a fan of plain or honey flavored but all the fruit on the bottom varieties (except lemon) are great!0

Chobani is the best. Shouldn't be grainy. Should be tangy and super duper creamy. I buy the plain nonfat Chobani and use it as a substitute for sour cream. Love it.
The plain is great for what was said above, you can also add a little garlic to it and use it for a wonderful Alfredo sauce too Just add some skim mozzarella
I use the Vanilla Non-Fat Chobani as either part of my meal or I add 4 oz to my protein shakes - Makes them even better tasting and better in the protein department!0 -
Dannon Greek nonfat vanilla is my fave.0
-
I like the Chobani and I add a squeeze of lemon and frozen blueberries for breakfast or a snack. I have also just tried the Athenos strained which I prefer for a substitute for sour cream or mayonnaise - it is a little drier in texture.0
-
Thanks all! I tried the Fage with side of honey as a snack and it was great! Definitely not grainy0
-
i like Dannon Plain Greek Yogurt then cut my own fruit into it or sugar free syrup...i put that s*** on everything!!!0
-
Dannon is my favorite. I think Chobani is my second choice, but really what I know is I love dannon... But the single serving containers have a thicker texture than the larger container, which is a bummer. Unless that one large one I got was a fluke.0
