I haven't had any beef for the last 3 weeks.1

Was ID checked at the pharmacy this morning. The clerk said the pic did not look like me. I said that was me almost 100 pounds ago. She had to have her supervisor check me also!1

I bought myself a new winter coat around Thanksgiving. It was too small (bought it online) and I couldn't even zip it up. I decided to not return it and instead use it as a motivator. Well, I wore it today and it fits like a glove. *happy dance*1

I wore my skinny jeans that have been in the back of the closet for a bit. I could get them on, but felt, and looked, like a sausage ready to pop! Well, I put them on Saturday and zipped them right up. Holy WOW!! They're not loose, but they FIT!! Wore them all damn day0

I bought a pair of 'normal' width knee high boots instead of having to ask for the wide ones!1

New deadlift PR today of 240! I've only added them in along with my kettle bell routine about 2 months ago.0

Today I could sustain 3.5MPH on the treadmill for two minutes (and probably more if I was going longer) AND a mile on the elliptical on resistance 4.2

I wore my dress pants from 12 years ago to my husband's Christmas party this past weekend, and though they were snug, they weren't too tight!0
-
On Saturday, I managed two laps jogging in sand around the riding ring I was teaching in while "dragging" an unwilling pony at the trot for his struggling rider AND wasn't all out of breath!!! Until recently, even a quarter way round was enough to wind me for several minutes.1

The sales associate looked at me and said, you wear a small, right?3

My sister-in-law referred to my waist as "tiny". I never heard the word tiny used to describe me before! Felt great0

I've had multiple this week, it's been awesome! Sunday I got up and did both spin class and yoga. That's one. Two, I wore shorts that day and felt comfortable. I never wear shorts, I'm afraid of them riding up or my legs just looking bad. It was actually nice! During yoga I was able to do sun salutations with ease where I used to struggle, particularly when going into "crocodile" (kind of like going from a plank to push uup). Usually I would just go from plank to the next thing and it'd be awkward since my arms would usually give out or just wouldn't go down since they weren't strong enough, but I was able to do it for the first time!
Last night I went through my clothes to do another purge of the clothes that were too bigand tried on eveverything. I was really excited to find that I now fit into Medium size scrub tops and pants, some medium shirts, and range of sizes for jeans depending on brand - 16s, 14s, and though a little snug i was able to wear size 12 dress papants. This was a HUGE victory for me. Since high school... Even middle school I'd been wearing Large and above sizes. I was never a medium! I also don't remember the last time I wore a size 12. In middle school I remember wearing size 16! 184 lbs now, so I'm excited to see how small my scrub sizes are going to get if imI'm already wearing mediums!0 -
I have one! First, a little bit of back story: I have Functional Neurological Disorder, which has "flare ups" related to all kinds of things, but my main triggers are stress in any form (physical or emotional), and the flare ups leave me bedridden, because I get very severe jerking in my entire upper body, complete loss of balance, and slight paralysis in my legs, so I can't get them to respond properly.
Usually, when I get a flare up, I get depressed and eat all kinds of junk food and gain plenty of weight, since I can't cook or clean (both are stress relievers for me... I'm weird) and I feel useless and like a burden to my husband, since I can't even get to the bathroom myself and he almost has to carry me to get me around.
This time (I've been down for 6 days and counting), not only did I stick to my calorie goals and avoid getting depressed... My husband helped me set things up in the kitchen so I could prepare easy foods and I still weighed and measured everything! (I was extremely weak and he had to do most of the work, but it still helped me in not feeling useless!) Although most of our food was "microwave food" (stuff like hotdogs, sliced turkey sandwiches, and boiled egg sandwiches), I still prepared it myself, measured it, logged it, and kept it all within my goals! YAY!5 -
Well done Susie! That's a great NSV!0

I could successfully do side plank and PiYo pike without dropping my leg.0

Thanks!! I was really proud of myself, since I've had the disorder for two years now, with more and more flare ups over the last year... So that was some serious derailing going on!0 -
Man, do I love this thread!
My most recent NSV was being able to buy size 14 Lucky Brand Jeans (from TJMaxx)! They are a little muffin-top-y, but they zipped and I'm looking forward to wearing them.
The other one is actual a scale victory, but it's not the number that I'm proud of, just that it was lower than before the Christmas holidays. Yay!1 -
That i'm feeling good again! My body is responding to my lifestyle changes and I love that feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!2

After pigging out over the holidays (and gaining a lot of weight) I trudged the two miles to work today through 4 inches of snow and kept a 4mph pace. My legs burn and my calves are arching and it feels great!1

Realized at the end of yoga class, that I held the extended side plank on both sides without really thinking about it...when I started yoga a year ago, I struggled to hold a normal plank for more than a few seconds. Now I'm doing side planks for 30 seconds! Woah!2

I tried on skinny pants i bought a year ago and have been waiting to try on. they are too big!1

I have two today! It was snowing today, so I pulled out the old rain boots! They actually fit around my calves! Weee doggy! It's the little that can help keep you moving! AND, I feel comfortable wearing horizontal stripes...so much that I bought three of the same style of shirts on clearance at Kohl's for $3.20! SCORE! :0) Happy Tuesday!0

In 2008 I had this cute top from JC Penney that was too tight for me and I wound up getting rid of it. It was a 3X, and I usually wore a 2X, but it was just too small...probably the smallest 3X I'd ever tried, but I was at my heaviest then.
Right now in my closet I have the same shirt, in a ladies M, I found it in a secondhand store and it's IDENTICAL to the one I used to have...and it is also a little too small even though I have loads of M tops that fit perfectly. But it looks cute worn with a vest over it (open) and it makes me smile every time I think "yep my slightly too small top is a M and once was a 3X"4 -
I am now a size 10 petite....NEVER before did I fit in this size! I still have difficulty believing it to be true.1
