Hello!!! I am so excited that My Fitness Pal has a community for us! Looking for gals wanting to lose 1 to 1.5 pounds per week, for a total of 20 to 25 pounds by this summer.
A little about me: I am 40 years young and need to lose about 20 pounds. I am a RN (Pediatrics and also teach Nursing). I am also getting married on 12/20/2015.
Let's take this journey towards healthy weight loss now.

I know all about the stress eating. in or out of school I find it very difficult to stay on track but after years of fad diets I have discovered it is just better to plan, plan, plan meals and track right away. I am here for you.0 -

Haha, I'm in New York right now. I'm also trying to get used to the formatting of this website~the app makes it impossible to add or like statuses! I'm on the website now, but is anyone else having this issue? Maybe I should try reinstalling...0 -
I'm getting married in October and am looking to lose at least 15 pounds and will re-evaluate then. I'm not a nurse but have a super stressful job with lots of travel and desk sitting involved. Feel free to add - I log daily!0

I'm not a nurse, and not even close to being a bride, but I would like to lose 20-25 lbs. I've already lost 30 and I'm keeping myself accountable by logging in my calories daily, feel free to add me too

Like the post above, I'm not a nurse. I'm already married (6 months till my 30th anniversary), but I do want to lose about 20 pounds by the end of June for my daughter's wedding. I lost 50 with the help of MFP, gained back 25 just falling back into old bad habits, and now I want to lose it again. I just felt so much better when I wasn't as heavy.0

Hello all! I am newly engaged and trying to lose weight at the same time. We do not have a date set as of yet, but I would love to drop about 25-30 lbs so that I will be happier with how I look in those wedding pictures! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in July of 2013 after gaining about 20-25 lbs, and started on synthroid. Since that time I have off and on dieted without much result, so I have once again started working out and dieting, but not seeing the pounds come off as of yet. I know that with continued hard work, I will be able to fit into the clothes hanging in my closet and be happier with how I look in my wedding pictures. I see that a lot of you are nurses or nursing students so if you have any tips to make this process any easier on me I would love to hear them!!0
