row 2.time 63.46.distance 12000m.level 5. spm 22.
after a 2hr row yesterday and leg training today, made a conscious effort to reduce stroke rate and put more effort into the arms/ upper body at the catch.seems to be working.

Thanks... I'm new to rowing... but it's the only piece of equipment in our wee office gym situation that is always free. I have quickly grown to like it as much as running!0 -
Hello!
I love rowing very much. Lost weight several time with it, unfortunately it's always coming back...
Now I'm doing it every morning, 55-75 minutes - 12-18 km, 450-700 calories.
I've got a Finnlo Rower Aquon Pro Plus, this is my third, most professional one!
Rowing is probably the best fitness activity, and only few people like it, do it!
I'm happy to chat, add me any time as friend!

I recently got a rower. I'm up to 12 minutes, but I usually do the treadmill first, then the rower. It's not my main item. I really like it and want to increase my endurance. I'll check out the group.0

12 mins is a great start, you will soon find distance/ time increases come naturally.
i too,do treadmill ,elliptical and strength training in rotation but use the rower as my main cardio for its full body workout properties.
check out the conceptc2.com site,it has a logbook to record rows/ times etc and great instructional videos to ensure correct technique.
enjoy.

finished month a record 250km rowed as part of the vitual team challenge.
well done to all participating.0 -
Good grief, you guys are some serious rowers. I just started rowing a couple weeks back. I don't have the time to row for 60 minutes at a time but I am putting in 30 to 35 minutes 3 times a week. I switched rowing out for elliptical to change things up. I don't pay attention to distance, but I average around 11 to 12 cals a minute per session.
Do you guys switch hand position often? I seem to be able to only row 10 to 12 minutes and then I switch to underhand for a couple of minutes and then switch back.0 -
