    Yes on "I reckon"..... I've heard "iffin ya awnto" for "want to" .... so, close anyway.

    As a northerner that moved to Alabama, I had the hardest time getting used to people calling me ma'am. Now when my kids answer me, they say yes, ma'am, and I kind of love it.
