Well, how do you fill in the blank? :)

It could be anything; being covered in sweat, managing to lift a heavier weight, completing all your planned sets, trying a new exercise/machine, getting a compliment, running further/quicker... Endless.

Mine is that whatever I've done, if I've added 5kg to my Deadlift, I walk out of there with my head held high.

What's yours? :)

Finished with my plan for the day. Really, just the fact that I got there is enough when it's 20 below zero.

If I get the after-lift shakes and my legs and/or arms feel like jello, depending on the day.

    Sweat's a bonus too.

(I am aware sweat is not a scientific metric for workout intensity.)

When my underwear and sports bra have zero dry patches.

When my sports bra color matches the trim on my shorts. :)

    Satisfied? That ^^

Happy? If my weight and/or reps are up from previous session(s).

    Ditto.

Which is why I'll be just as happy today after lifting a fraction of my working weight as I will be when I'm back up to 100% next week (I think).

It's my first day back after a flu relapse - said relapse triggered by jumping back into lifting and running too hard. Oops.

Hit or upped the weights and counts on my planned session.

Much easier to do now that I keep a journal.

How do you calculate this? I'm just wondering as I don't spend a great deal of time on one machine but move around a lot, or do you have a fitbit like device that does that for you?
