Tall women pants sizes and weight?

I'm looking for some motivation. What weight were you at different pants sizes? How tall are you? Where do you carry your weight?
I'll start, I'm 5'10.5 and 247 I wear an 18. At 270 I wore a 20. In the misty period before that (weight up to 315) I wore a 22,24, and 26. I carry my weight in my stomach booty and thighs.
what about you?

I'm 5'9" and carry most of my weight like you do. At 210, I wore a tight 14. At 180, I wore a 10. At 150, I'm in a loose 8. I've been lifting since October and I've noticed my thighs and booty have tightened up, resulting in my pants being even looser even though I'm at the same weight.4

I'm 5'7", highest was 197 and a size 16. I carry my weight in my stomach so the pants sizes take a while to go down. My friends who are more a pear shape have told me their sizes and it seems to be smaller, even when our weight is similar. I try not to look at the number, more at the fit. But when the fat pants are too big, it's a great feeling!3

I'm currently around 186, and I'm wearing a (US) size 14 in a pair of jeans and a pair of khakis that both run small. Typically around this weight I'd be wearing a size 12 in pants, and I think if I were wearing pants that didn't run small, I'd be in a 12 now.
After my older son was born and I lost a bunch of weight on MFP, I weighed around 154 at my lowest, and I was wearing a size 4 or size 6, depending on the brand. I could even wear a size 2 or an XS in certain brands.
I'm 5'7", so not really tall, but I carry my weight in my hips and thighs. I have a small waist, even after two kids, so my shirt size has always run a little smaller than my pants size.
So it appears that those 30 lbs makes me drop from a size 12 or so to a size 4 or so.0 -
5'10". 236 was a too tight 18. Now 225 and still in 18's but another 5 and I think a 16 will fit. Depends on the cut. My smallest was 150 size 10's (20 some years ago before kids).0

I'm 5'11 and at 160 I'm between a 10 & 8. At 193 (my heaviest on record) was a very tight 14 (refused to by 16's). At 143 I was a 4, at 150 I'm a 6.
I'd like to get back to 155 and stay there, but I have issues with that
I carry my weight all over, so I lose slowly all over. I gained 20lbs from Oct 2013 and Dec 2014 and my BF's family didn't even notice. Most people gain 20lbs you can tell. Me, I'm the only one that can tell.1 -
I'm 5 ft. 9 in and wear a UK Size 8 (US Size 4). It feels just right. The thighs and butt are the last places I lose weight, but getting some muscle on them really helps.1

I'm 6'0" - At my biggest, 300 lbs I wore a size 22 pants. I currently am at about 80 lbs lost and I now wear either a 12 or 14 tall. Gets harder and harder to find pants, the more weight I lose.0 -
I'm 5'8. At 240 pounds, I was squeezing into an 18. At 180 pounds now, I wear a 10-12 depending on brand and cut. (I have to buy my pants to fit my thighs and butt. If I bought to fit my waist I'd be an 8-10 depending on brand.)0
-
I am 5'8".. I started out at 200 lbs size 15 pants. I am now 144 lbs a size 7 or 5.depending on the brand... my goal weight is 135, hopefully a steady size 5.1

5'9" : @ 230 a tight 14; @ 209 loose/baggy 14 still couldn't get into a 12.0

Hello all,
I'm 6 Feet, at 346 lbs I wore a size 26-28 XXL. At my smallest 169, I was a size 10 pants and medium top. I am pear shape. My tops are one to two sizes smaller than my big thighs/ wide hips.
My ideal weight is 165 lbs. I've had a gain so I'm on a journey to lose it...

right now i wear anywhere from an 8 to a 12 and i am right around 170. i am 5'9" tall.0

5'7" 270 and a very large butt have me in a size 22. A few years ago I was about 235 and still in a 20 due to the big butt!0
-
I'm currently 5'6, around 164 pounds and I wear a size 10.
At my heaviest, I was around 260 pounds and I wore a size 22, but I would try to squeeze into size 20s. My most steady weight was about 230 pounds and I wore a size 16.

height 5'9"
in US sizes:
starting 225lbs: 16/18
current 200lbs: 12/140 -
5'7'' currently wearing a size 16 at 182 pounds (13 stone) hoping to get back down to size 12 maybe even a 100

I'm 5'10.5" and about 220lbs. I carry the vast majority of my weight in my hips, thighs and butt, so I'm barely squeezing into an 18 in pants, but I comfortably wear a large (and sometimes medium) shirt.
When I was in the low 160's (2 short years ago, ugh...) I was in a 10.0 -
5'11".
At my MFP starting weight (308.5) I wore a US 22 or 24. For shirts, I wore L or XL.
Now I weigh in the 173-178 range. US 10 is my typical size, but I have pants and skirts in my closet ranging from 6 to 14 that all fit. Shirts range from XS to M.0 -
I am 5'11 and currently weigh 313. Before my last pregnancy I was around 355. (My heaviest ever!) At that point I was wearing a women's 24-26 pants. I carry all my weight in my hips, butt and thighs (small waist.) I'm currently in a size 22. I have a large build and bone structure so my goal is to lose about 100 more pounds. I think I will be comfortable in my skin at around 210.0

I am 5'11 and 211 pounds. I can wear a 12-14!0

5'10", 232 size 16-18
Watch vanity sizing! Sizes have creeped up in the last 20 years.0 -
Thank you for starting this thread! I am in the same boat as you OP. I am starting around 245, am 5'10, and carry most of it from my waist down, although I definitely need to lose inches in my arms too. I am currently in a size 18 pant, and cant wait to start buying smaller ones. I have been on here for a while, but yoyo'ed between 250 and 235 before giving up for a while. I will be 40 in a month, so am finally motivated to make permanent changes in my life, including making a commitment to getting and staying healthy. I'm also going to be planning a wedding this year, which is another big motivator. I wish everyone tremendous success in 2015!0

I carry my weight extremely well. Most people won't realize that I still weigh right around 200 - I'm around 5'9"ish. I wear a 13/14 right now. When I was at the height of my weight - 267 - I wore between an 18 and 20. I just switched down, in the past few months, from a 16 to a 13/14 (can finally get into Junior's clothes again!!).2

I'm 5'8" 160 and a 6/8. Some stores I have 10s, some stores I have 4s. I think I am somewhat "small" for my weight. My goal is to be 140-145 and a consistent 4.
Everyone carries their weight very differently.0 -
I'm 5'10 and currently 272, heaviest was 286. I was wearing a size 22, still am because I haven't got new jeans yet (I'm a nurse so I wear scrubs at work so I really wear are jeans) but I have noticed that I have to buy a belt for my 22s. At my lowest weight I was about 190-200 and wearing a 12/14 depending on the brand.
My goal is to get to about 200- I have a very heavy bone structure and lots of muscle under the flab. I gain all over so it takes forever to notice weight gone.0 -
I'm 6'0" - At my biggest, 300 lbs I wore a size 22 pants. I currently am at about 80 lbs lost and I now wear either a 12 or 14 tall. Gets harder and harder to find pants, the more weight I lose.
I'm nearly 6'2" and I feel your pain, no matter what size I am. It appears that they assume that larger people are also taller people so they increase the length a little (still too short for me though!), but that smaller people can't possibly be, so the pants are anywhere between 2 and 4" too short. Bah! And I live in Australia, which makes it worse - very little variety in long pants, so I order them online from America. Gap seems to do them long enough in their extra-tall section, so give them a go!0 -
5'8.5"
I started at 156 and a size 12 US about three years ago.
Today I weighed in at 153.2 and I am between a size 4 and 6 US.
I don't have a goal weight because it really doesn't mean anything.0 -
I am nearly 6'2" and today I weighed in at 88kg (194lb) and am wearing an Aussie 16 (US 12). I seem to roughly drop a size for every 5kg I lose, although come to think of it that's only as I approach a healthy weight. The less I weigh, the greater the size decrease per kilo lost, if that makes sense.0
-
5'10 currently 150 lbs. I carry my weight in my hips and thighs. I have such a hard time determining size because I find sizes are all over the map. I can generally expect a 6/8 in pants and a 4/6 in skirts0
-
I'm 5'10" and 165 lbs. Before I started weight lifting I wore a size 11/12. Been lifting for 3 years, still weigh 165 and I wear size 8/9.0
