Women, what are you giving your man for valentines day?

I've set up a date for us to do some glass work. The glass blowing classes were full, but there's a pretty neat guided class on making plates and we get to take them home when we are done.
That's a really good idea. Mr Acrylics would like it.
I don't know what we're doing honestly.

I'm pretty anti-v-day! However new relationship and he asked what we should do.....now booked for an overnight stay in Cambridge. Nommy afternoon and night in the hotel followed by walking around Cambridge on the Sunday haha0

We never go out to dinner on Valentine's Day. My husband calls it "amateur night" as all the couples who never go out converge on every halfway decent restaurant in town to eat chicken parm and chocolate lava cake.
I've given up getting my husband presents...ever since I tried to surprise him with a new sand wedge for his birthday years ago...at the time I knew nothing about golf, but I asked my boss (an avid golfer) for advice, and picked out a club for him. Then the weekend before his birthday my husband (then fiancé) went to play a round with a friend and came back with a brand new sand wedge he'd bought himself at the pro shop.0 -
I'm hoping the op will advise what they gave so I can give my wife some idea.0

A blowie. Duh.0

I'm kidding (kind of). I have no idea. Probably something Batman-related.0

Probably nothing, since he thinks the holiday is stupid. We are planning on going to the gym, and watching "Pumping Iron" together though, so I guess that0

I'm going to let him hold the TV remote.
Kidding. I actually got a baby sitter. We are going to a nice restaurant and then we are going to gamble. Nothing secures your marriage like throwing you hard earned money in a slot machine together.0 -
Im gonna read this thread till valentines. WOW...0

discussing any other orientation is typically frowned upon here, so apologies for trying to conform to forum standards.0 -
Question. Why are people acting like a bj is something special set aside for special occasions?
And yes, I swallow.0 -

I'm just going to play video games and ignore him all night. If I get my new boyfriend a present, he might assume that I'm nice or something ridiculous like that. We can't be having that precedent set. tsk tsk.0

YES!!! So much of this...I'm dying
The stuff that is standard for Valentine's Day like flowers, wine, chocolate, dinner out, romancey pants stuff, is pretty much like our lifestyle to be honest. So it's hard to outdo one another on that day. We'll probably do something very similar to every other week. A little trip out of town and maybe something we haven't tried before. Silly handmade cards. Maybe a special weekend trip since his birthday is a few days after Feb 14.
