    Hi,
I'm reeeaally sorry, but I'm going to have to quit the pedometer challenge for now. Being pregnant with my 4th, and having had all C-sections, my scar has been hurting me whenever I exercise, lately. I'm freaked out about it, so for now, I'm going to limit my exercise to housework. Sorry! I feel really bad, since I've been posting and stuff, but this really has me nervous. I would LOVE to jump back in after the baby comes, but that will probably be round 2 of the challenge, since this baby isn't coming till late May or early June.
Would love to keep watching all your progress and encourage, though!

You have been doing amazingly but, yeah, take it easy until after you have the baby! :) I am amazed by how much you've been managing while pregnant.

I log my steps if it is during a long walk but if it is steps which aren't during an exercising walk (like if it is the steps just through walking around through the day) I don't log them. I do take my pedometer off while I'm doing an exercide dvd or crunches etc because I don't want to potentially double dip.

    Hope that makes sense! :)

Yeah that was what I was getting at. You know you could reset your stepper when you exercise. Just an idea.

Yes thanks that does make sence. I only log a 1/2 hour slow walk for every 7,000 steps I take. That is what others said they do so i'll give it a shot. I also take mine off while exercising!

Slow day for me too - my pedometer stopped counting on my walk into work so I was about 800 steps lower than normal for my walk in. Grr! I ended on 8389 but only because I went for a long walk after work.

Aw! I'm sorry to hear it's hurting you, I hope you feel ok resting for a bit, you deserve it! I only logged 6400 on Tuesday but yesterday I logged 16000 so I think I made up for them! On school days, I'm just not going to be able to make my 10,000, I just have too much to do.. Oh well.

I only did 4500 yesterday. Uggh. Too much homework and I was just exhausted. Only a couple more weeks of school, and I plan to make up the 5500 today and tomorrow!

Good going everyone! Sunitagt, don't let a couple of slower days get you down. My count was down yesterday too so I am just picking it up and hoping to make up for it at the weekend :)

Thursday equalled around 10,300. Woke up late today and forgot the pedometer but I made sure to walk up the stairs when I had a run to do today ( i work at a hospital) so that helps.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've done 12772 so far today, and still plan to take my dog for a walk later! So that at least makes up some of it and then tomorrow I think I can make up some more.

Everyone looks like they're doing really well! Its pretty exciting to be able to keep track of this, wish I'd started sooner!

    Hi Everyone!
I just got back into FitnessPal and I am going to try and find my pedometer and start counting those steps! I have gained a ton of weight since I got laid off and I think part of it is not being on my feet all day. Thanks for the idea!

It was raining all weekend here so the pedometer wasn't put on at all (I take mine off as soon as I get home because otherwise it is just measuring walking around my flat which is quite little!)

Really need to get back into it today though. :)

Hope everyone gets nice weather for walking this week! We have snow and it's only about 26 degrees, so we'll be spending our day indoors today! I'll turn on the WiiFit for the kids.

I started tracking my steps on walkertracker.com which I really like. Yesterday I did 11800, and it takes averages from over the week, over the month and overall. I feel really good about making this 10,000 more often than not! I think it's about time to take the dog for a walk.
