Eat the foods you like to eat.0

I am but only having about 1200 cals a day.0
-
First off, are you weighing your foods? Counting everything carefully?0
-
Yes I make sure if it. I don't know what would be a good snack to have between meals???0

If you are too low on calories, eating something calorie dense is helpful. For example, peanut butter, nuts, cheese.0
-
Not a big fan of cheese but I'll give it a go0

Apple and peanut butter is one of my favorites.0

Not to be rude, but what were you eating that too much of that caused you to gain weight? Just eat less of that. You will lose weight.0
-
I think I'm going to try more fruit and try some peanuts.0

I'm an electrician and start early so use to miss breakfast and not eat till dinner and end up at gregs or tescos and have prepacked sandwich, pasty and pop. All the wrong things at the wrong time. I was 18st 4lb 4 weeks ago now 17st 10lb so losing weight but the app says I need to eat more.0

Sorry I'm 16st 10lb not 170

My go to for easy calories and fullness is any item higher in carbs- oatmeal (with almond butter), rice, pasta, sweet potatoes, etc.0

Are you eating low fat or fat free foods instead of regular fat foods? If so, eat their regular counterparts (i.e., regular yogurt instead of fat free yogurt.)0

No need to worry about eating at the "wrong" time. Calories don't know or care what time it is.
I agree with everyone else: First, make sure you're tracking accurately. Then, if you are, add some calorie-dense foods into your day slowly.
And track your rate of weight loss. It will usually be faster at the beginning (due to water weight drop) and then level off after a couple of months. If you're losing faster than expected, eat more. If you're losing slower than expected, eat less or exercise more.0 -
Thanks all. Good good advice. I do try to do the fat free root I'll give the normal root a go0
