Are there things you don't log?

I don't log most condiments in small quantities - I rarely use more than a tablespoon of ketchup, mustard, relish, soy sauce etc., any higher than that or if it's in a recipe I'll track it.
Occasional sips and bites I find difficult to track accurately, so I just don't. I do usually try to leave 100 or so calories free on those days though.
I also don't track spices, stevia, coffee or water, same goes for single serve portions of low cal veggies - mushrooms, scallions, garlic, cucumber, etc.
I do track gummy vitamins and things like that because it's a higher calorie count (usually 50 cals as opposed to 15 calories worth of ketchup or whatever).
If tracking gets too tedious, I won't keep up with it, so I stick with tracking the essentials.0 -
Things with no calories. Water for example. I don't understand the point of logging your water. I don't log my tea. Sometimes I don't log my coffee. If I'm feeling lazy I won't log lettuce because it hardly has any calories...0

I used to not log creamer and other stuff like that and just set my calorie goals about 100 lower. But I found myself "cheating" and having more coffee with creamer then 100 cals. So now I try to log it all0

I started getting frustrated in measuring the coconut milk I put in my coffee in the mornings, but since I'm always around the 1/4 cup mark and never put as much as 1/2 cup, I just log a 1/2 cup every morning and that's that.0

Tea/coffee (but I log the milk I put in it), diet soda, gum, & salt/pepper.0

I can never be arsed to log things like sugar-free gum or the Mio liquid water enhancer crap that I use when I sip water outside my workouts. I only recently started logging my Rockstar energy drinks (which will have to be pried from my cold, dead hands) because even the low calorie versions have 10-25 calories, so... something something accountability!0

I guess im kinda weird. If it 5 or less cals, I don't log, 5-10 I might log (depends on how much I'm using), 10 and up I always log.0

I'm with you, I don't log everything, but I log the majority. I figure the odds and ends will even out with all the walking I do at work and during the day that I don't log.0

Salt and other seasonings. Unless I'm using something like sugar0

Oh and I estimate on a lot of things. The creamer in my coffee I just guess. I may measure once to see about how much I'm using then guess the rest of the time. Such a small amount of cals anyway. I estimate on condiments as well. And salad dressing. It's worked for me.0

I try and log everything ... it's surprising how milk in your tea, ketchup, salad dressings etc can all add up!0

I've only been on here seriously for about 7 weeks...but I have a tablespoon handy whenever I'm doing good prep/having snacks etc. Sauces and dressings can be FULL of extra added preservatives/sugars/not so good fats so it's important to include that. I find on MFP a lot of people are concentrating SO hard on their calorie count and although important, so are nutrients and getting the right proteins/fats/carbs. Please add me if you are serious about eating clean/gluten free/mostly dairy free and love healthy exercise and strength training!!!!0

Salt and pepper. I even log my vitamins because that's 25-30 calories right there.0

Hi there!,
I don't log salt/pepper and spices. That's pretty much it. I log my diet sodas because there are micronutrients involved. Otherwise, I log everything else....especially powdered sugar free creamer, ketchup packets, and everything in between. Even a tomato slice has 5 calories. I've had days where that could take me 'over'. Does it matter in the grand scheme of things - no. But, I've found my 'happy place' with it.
Good luck!0 -
I don't log the skim milk I put in coffee or tea or diet soda. I only have two or three sodas per week, so I don't worry about those. I also don't log exercise, so I figure that gives me some leeway in the counts. I also come in 100-300 calories short most days, so even if there are a few unlogged cals. it's not going to throw me off too badly.0
