Struggles/successes this week: Well I know I didn't gain three pounds of fat in the two days since my last weigh-in, particularly after plateauing at 159 during a week of low calories and very high energy expenditure, so I'm assuming excess water was a factor in today's number. But I report what the scale says, so 162 it is. I'm leaving my goal at 155, which would be very difficult to attain if today's number was "real", but I'm due for a whoosh. Next week's number will be awesome. "Awesome" in the slang sense.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: I enter this challenge on a plateau. Over the past year and a half, I've lost 50 pounds and while I would like to continue losing, it's become increasingly harder to do so. What I used to do to lose weight when I first started (1,400 calories daily and Zumba 3x a week) is no longer working so it's been hard for me to adjust to something new. I'm trying though and eventually would like to see myself lose an additional 30 pounds and reach my goal weight of 160. Hopefully this challenge will give me the boost I need!

Hi. I'm just getting started back into my fitness pal again. I have great motivation as my daughter is getting married at the end of July. I would love to lose 50 pounds by then. It sounds like a lot but I'm 6 foot one and right now very sedentary so if I cut back my food and ramp up my exercise it actually is possible. So here goes:
