no. I don't think so. Well, unless you include my Driver's License...but the coolest thing happened a couple years ago when I renewed. My "lie" weight was actually correct by then. HA!0

I have a tendency to lie whenever someone asks me my weight or even comments on it. I don't like to discuss it. I usually add 10-15 pounds to my actual weight.0

In my last job, I had to look up a lot of driver license's photos and it had their height, weight, date of birth and all that on there. Trust me, 98% of people lie about their weight on their driver's licenses and most of them are super obvious that its a lie. I actually had a report where the lady died from her medication and her driver's license was over 100 lbs off from when the coroner weighed her body. She lied about a person basically. Which is pretty obvious to a cop when you are looking at their info and then looking at them. At least keep it realistic!
But yeah my driver's license weight is a lie, but not crazy bad. lol I can't wait till I have to change it because I'm way under that weight!0 -
I "lied" about it when renewing my DL as well...honestly when they ask "has anything changed" it's just easy to say nope gimme my new license and get out of there. I hate the DMV *shudder*0

I've never lived in a state that lists weight on a drivers license.
I suppose for years I rounded down when asked my weight on various forms, but I never shaved more than a few pounds off my actual weight.
Last summer, when I was about five pounds less than I am now, I lied in the other direction, knowing my actual weight sounded very low (double digits).

never have. i think that i always look like i weigh more than i do, so no point in lying. when i say my weight, people will think i'm anorexic or something, but if they look at me, probably not.0

I used to lie about how much weight I gained during pregnancy. People assumed it was 20-25lbs when in reality it was more like 45. Not sure why people would ask how much I've gained in the first place, but I was getting tired of the shock on people's faces when I told the truth, lying was easier.0

I always lied about my weight on my driver's license until recently...even when I was 16 years old and first got my license, I think I said 170 lb and I was over 200.
I never minded "admitting" to weighing 200+ but I would always downplay it like 210, 220, 230. I never told anyone I was actually much heavier. Even my ex husband thought I weighed 230 and we were married for nearly a decade!!
It wasn't until I joined MFP at 272 lb that I told my husband and 2 close friends my real weight. By then I was down 45 lb from my heaviest and felt a lot better with 272 than 307. That marked the end of an era for me psychologically somehow...sounds overly dramatic I know, but I was fine telling people my weight since that day!
I remember back in the olden days of internet dating (1999-2000) my friend and I were meeting guys that way and people would often share height/weight and I always said "5'8" 220 lb" because I wanted the guys to know I was big (I was actually 270). My friend worried that no guy would want to meet me unless I said at least 170 or lower. It worked out fine for me though. I think that especially over a certain point, most people don't have a good idea of what a certain weight really even looks like anyway.

Not on MFP but have in the past on my Driver's license!0

i really cant think of a time when i lied about it0

Only when I wanted to donate plasma for food money, and I was about 5 lbs too light to be eligible.0

Hmm, I usually round up or down depending on what mood I'm in. As someone already said, most people don't really have a good idea of what different weights can look like on people, so I feel like it may as well be any random number for most people. However, I am usually no more than a few pounds away from my actual weight. I agree there's no point in lying significantly as anyone can see what you look like.0

I've actually never ever lied about my weight. I've just never been ashamed of it. When I weighed myself at work at my heaviest and my co-worker asked me, I told her what it was.

Never... But I prefer not to answer if anybody ask how much my weight is huhuhu!!0

Outside a medical situation, I don't think I've ever been asked. It's a rude question, isn't it?0

I've never lied about my weight (not more than give or take 5 pounds).SwashBlogger wrote: »Outside a medical situation, I don't think I've ever been asked. It's a rude question, isn't it?

Maybe in my early teen years when I wasn't comfortable with myself (Who is at that age?). But in recent years I've been accused of lying about my weight, but never actually have.0

My class at uni did a research project a couple of months back and we needed to give our BMIs for it. I gave mine as if I weighed a stone less than I actually did. It was actually then that I realised I need to sort this out...0

Today at the chiropractor's office. And at the DMV when I got my license renewed. F* it. Depresses me enough without having it published on my driver's license.0

"I weigh, like, 110" --95 lbs and not fooling anyone0
-
MY license has the incorrect weight.. They never requested I change it. It started out right.. and increased over the years.. it's WAY OFF..0

I've never understood this behavior. It's not as though I look at a girl and think "wow, she looks great," then hear her weight and reassess. Same goes for the other direction, it's never "hmm, that guy could stand to drop a pound or two. Oh wait, really? he's only 170? In that case, mea culpa ."0
-
For what it's worth, I've done a TON of guessing over the years. I don't know if that counts as lying, but a lot of times, it would have been months since I'd been on a scale, and I was probably kind with my estimates.0

I think I probably lied to my boyfriend about my weight when I first met him but it soon fell off anyway. You guys just made me look at my license though out of curiosity and I weigh 15lbs less than that! YAY! Thanks for making my day better! Haha0
-
last time I got my driver's license I am now much lower than that lied about weight0
-
Never. Even was I was fat I was honest about my weight.0

My mom once remarked that I looked like I wasn't eating enough and asked how much I weigh. She sort of freaked out when I answered and started sending me grocery coupons in the mail every week. After that, I started adding 10 lbs to my answer whenever she asked.
And now I have to bump it up to +15.0
