Getting good advice.. why is it so difficult?

Maybe you should stop looking for advice and start applying different theories to your diet, to figure out what works for you, as an individual?
The bottom line, regardless of anything else is to eat less than you burn. Period. The rest is personal preference.0 -
Nope
I'm a die-hard spokeswoman of lifestyle change which includes making sure that the following is addressed: regular/enough sleep, properly managed stress levels, balanced nutrition and movement (both cardiovascular and muscle strength), good posture and flexibility, balanced sex life, etc. In short a healthy body, mind, and soul.
OT, but: What the heck is a balanced sex life? Maybe more importantly, what is an imbalanced sex life? Truly curious. Never heard the phrase before.
TMI: I've not had sex since my divorce -- is that bad?
Like I tried to say, it is a perfectly subjective perception of your life circumstances If you're happy, you're happy and there is no arguing against it. A happy mind usually means a happy body, and vice versa.

When ever someone says message them for "advice" I can't help but to think they are trying to sell something.0 -

- Follow your solution for a couple weeks and assess the results. Did they work? Keep doing them. Didn't work? Try something else.
This is the closest to a universally good piece of advice you can get.
I have noticed in general that people looking for advice online tend to want ready-cut advice tailored to their own particular situation and it'd better work. But the only memeber of any given forum who really knows you best is you. Pick one or two things that sound the most reasonable, give them at least a couple of weeks each, keep data, reevaluate and adjust as you go. Yes, it will take longer, but you will learn so much more about what works for you in the process.0 -
