I had a cookie from work. It's homemade so can't add the calories. so you're good!0
-
Haha! Like your style!0
-
Depends on how much was on that spoon LOL
The other night my daughter made cookies and I grabbed a taste of the batter...it was enough for me to add it as like half a cookie (lots of butter and calories, so I had to)0 -
I'm so afraid to do this because of uncooked egg. :X though I am always so tempted.0
-
Ha it was only a little bit! I should be fine!0

Quick add calories 20?0

Quick add works too. But that's no fun!0

BLT - bites, licks, tastes.0

I added 100. May or may not have had a cube of chocolate..0

I've never heard of anyone getting sick from the raw egg. I'm convinced its a lie my mom made up so I wouldn't eat all the cookie dough lol
OP: Walk around your living room a few times- you should be good as long as you didn't eat like half the bowl as you were making them.....which I may or may not have done before.0 -
Raw eggs are awesome. Mix it up in a blender with some sugar and you're golden!0

Maybe I should try running up and down the stairs also just too punish myself. As I may or may not have tried a brownie..
Digging myself a hole here hahaha

There you go! Self-punishment is key!0

Yep, I used to lick the batter when I was a kid and never got sick but now they say it is unsafe. Nope, I'm still licking the spoon. YMMV0

LOL just log the brownie and you'll be golden... I mean licking the spoon is kinda free calories*. You have to make sure the batter is safe....right?? right?? lol
*No such thing as free calories haha. I feel like that needed a disclaimer.0 -
Samples at the grocery store also do not count.0

This is one of those things that when I was logging I realized I had moved beyond merely trying to be healthy, aware, consistent, and relatively accurate to being obsessed.0
-
I'm a spoon licker too and do not count it!!0

Wash your eggs before you use them. Salmonella is on the shell.0

I had brownies with cookies on top last weekend. So good and so worth the pound I jumped up the next day.
If it doesn't go in the oven, it doesn't have calories. This includes what's left in the bowl.0 -

But I don't use the shell?
Ohhhh my goodness I hope that was a joke. The egg touches the shell when it comes out of it.

when I first started logging it wasn't a big deal and I never worried about it. I did fine with logging for months and months...at some point though something just switched and it went from just trying to be aware of what I was doing and living a healthier lifestyle to obsessing about things just like that...in the end, I was freaking out if I forgot to measure and log my dollop of ketchup. I got pretty ridiculous in the end.
Logging taught me a lot and I'm grateful that I did it for the time that I did it...but for me, it just spun out of control at some point and turned to silliness. I'm in a much better place now and healthier and happier than ever.
I think most people should spend some time logging and learning...but I really question whether it's a valid long term solution for most people...if they want to keep their sanity that is. It is an incredibly effective method for weight loss though.0 -
