That's a Trekkie check, not a nerd check.
Too busy playing my game to bother with an elaboration right now.
    BBL. Maybe.

I have a Star Trek tattoo, have seen all of the episodes of Star Trek, but I don't negate star wars either. To each his own, but I'm a trekkie!

Star Wars but then again, I'm an OT nut ;-)

I like Star Wars, but I think I like Star Trek a smidge more.

I liked both but I prefer the Star Trek universe to the Star Wars one.

Star Wars is fun but its more of an action movie masquerading as Sci Fi.

Plus, there are no Jar Jar Binks in the Federation.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of the new Star Trek movies :P

YES! I'm glad I'm not the only one. They've taken away the things that made Star Trek interesting and different and turned it into almost generic Sci Fi blockbuster stuff. It was entertaining but it wasn't really Star Trek.

Star Trek! My brother is 7 years older than me, so when I was a kid I thought it was the coolest thing ever to sneak down to the living room after bedtime to watch STNG with him. haha. I love it. I'm a fan of Voyager as well - Janeway is my homegirl! A fan of the classic series and movies, as well as, the new movies which I feel have done justice to revamping a great cult series and making it badass/approachable.

I still enjoy Star Wars, but Star Trek is my fav.

Thank you, @BigBadWolf__ ! Exactly! Also, the whole alternate universe thing really turned me off. I'd be okay with a reboot or remake, but making it a parallel dimension right alongside the other timeline....eh. I wasn't crazy about it at all.

Trek, of course. Except DS9....even Worf couldn't save that. So much Trek that I'd take Enterprise over Star Wars.

Loved the original Star Wars trilogy.
The newer ones were crap - overdone sfx fight scenes interrupted by terrible acting.

... how... how is this even a discussion?! STAR WARS. the end. ;)
Both are awesome, and as someone who appreciates geek culture, I choose both.

BUT, I feel like it's not even an equal comparison. There have been 6 Star Wars movies, the fan fic and the clone wars animated shows...and Star Trek has hundreds of episodes, the books and how many movies? There's so much more material with Star Trek you have a bigger universe (no pun intended) to draw upon.

I weep for the Star Wars people. Han Solo didn't even understand a parsec, Yoda is clearly a high school drop out and, need I say.....Jar-Jar Binks??????
