Anybody else in the northern states having troubles breathing while working out? All this week it has been around -10 to -30 outside, and while exercising inside, I noticed my chest is feeling tighter like my lungs are freezing.

  • Being out in the cold makes it super rough especially with running or anything. Have you tried any in home workout programs instead?

Sometimes. I don't exercise outside in the winter anymore, but the really cold air would hurt my breathing. Best fix I found is to breath while covering your mouth with a hand or scarf.

I do everything inside. I live in an old, big, drafty house, so it's pretty cold inside. I have an electric heater going, and I close the doors to the living room thinking they may help. I'm wondering if a humidifier might help since its very dry air.

A humidifier would definitely help. Even more than the cold, it's the dryness that hurts. I have bad lung issues, and if I don't have a humidifier on my o2 tanks it hurts like hell.
