Should I start weight lifting and working out now?

So I am currentely trying to loose around 50 pounds and want to get body built but should I wait or start lifting now?

Ok thanks guys. Was doing SL before but I don't really like it anymore. Looking for other starter full body workouts, including legs.

Ok thanks guys. Was doing SL before but I don't really like it anymore. Looking for other starter full body workouts, including legs.
Agreed with all of the above but I'm confused by the did SL but looking for full body workouts that include legs? SL includes legs.0 -
Strong Lifts is good, but I found it monotonous doing the same thing all the time. If you want more variety, Strong Curves and The New Rules of Lifting are both good programs, and they change up the workouts a bit.0

I know but sometimes people will exclude legs from full body workouts, wasn't talking about SL.

There is a New Rules of Lifting is for males and a NROL for Women too. Strong Curves, ok got ya there.
