morning! I just downloaded the app about 2 weeks ago. I lost the first week but gained the 2nd week. I didn't realize the depth of this app until today as I started playing with it more! I love the idea of a community board within the app, this is going to be amazing and so easy to get support!

Thank you! Consistency is my downfall but I'm taking baby steps and am determined to do this.0

Welcome! I've been here 42 days now and have lost 12.5 lbs so far. Losing weight is the hardest thing for me, I usually give up too easy, but I'm hoping to stay strong with this app and finding new friends on here to keep me motivated and give me new ideas!0

My standard suggestion/tip is to do some reading.juliet3455 wrote: »Visit the Eat-Train-Progress group and read the pinned topics. If you click on the little STAR you can bookmark the topic for future reference.

Try the USDA site as a cross reference for nutrition values of different food diary entries.

This ( Most Food ) item is already listed a bunch of times. Better to edit and correct one that is already there than add to the database mess that exists now.
Read the Logging Accurately before you do the Following!!!!!!
To bring up the Edit Function - When the Food item is displayed and you click on the "Nutritional Info" there will be 3 options - Yes - No - I Don't Know.
Pick the No and it will return an Edit Button.
Now you can edit the item and correct/add to the Nutritional information.
Not sure how good this works on the phone apps as I do everthing on a PC.
My personal Bias is to use grams ( 100 gm ) as it makes the math easy especially when you use a scale and weigh everything. Not 2 tablespoons ( 32 gm ) just use the values from the product label and confirm it with the un-biased nutritional information from the USDA web site at 100 gm.0 -
Today is my first day. I've never kept track of what I'm eating. Its a little overwhelming but the more I explore the App the more confident I'm getting.0
