Best Pizza Toppings

I promised my daughter I would make pizza tomorrow.
Its pretty easy to roll the base really thin so the calorie load isn't too bad, and I use passata for the sauce, which is no problem. Question is, what are your favorite diet friendly toppings? I am thinking a sensible amount of half fat mozzarella, parma ham and rocket. Yum
What do you like best?

Whenever I make my own homemade "healthy" pizzas I put stuff like mushrooms, shredded brussel sprouts, spinach and lower fat mozzarella. Maybe some ham or Canadian bacon.0
-
Spinach is a good call. Not sure about brussel sprouts on a pizza....0
-
1. buffalo chicken and bleu cheese
2. bacon, sausage, ham, pepperoni
3. chicken and broccoli alfredo
4. ground beef, american cheese slices, and ketchup
5. ham, pineapple, and jalepenos0 -
Garlic, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. I don't like tomato sauce on my pizza.0
-
A ratio of 50% vegetables, 30% cheese, and 20% meat for me!0
-
garlic and fresh tomato with spinach, no sauce. now I just want pizza.0
-
Bacon. Moar cheese.0
-
sausage0
-
I love broccoli on pizza. but I don't really like pizza sauce so my favorite is really breakfast pizza.0
-
Pepperoni, chicken, beef, jalapenos, brie....0
-
Onions and onions and onion. I also like a little pepperoni. For our homemade pizzas, we also top with some oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes.0
-
The herbs are a give Pearsquared (you should have my avatar...).
I'm liking the idea of broccoli, I like it when its slightly crispy. And maybe some red onion....all with a couple slices parma ham.
That will be enough veg, I can have salad on the side0 -
Just a pile of veggies and no cheese, maybe some yeast on top, for a more savory taste.0
-
I like thinly sliced onions and peppers, fresh tomatoes, seafood (tuna, salmon, shrimp, anchovies...whatever is around), olives, even thinly sliced pickles at time, topped with a little bit of cheese.0
-
When I wasn't eating beef I always loved ground beef topping. Then started eating pork again and back to pepperoni topping. Now I just get pepperoni and beef topping!!0
-
I love artichoke, spinach, lots of garlic, and 2% cheese.0
-
I would go with regular cheese, the low fat doesn't seem to melt well, and load it with veggies: broccoli, mushrooms, peppers, etc.0
-
Mmm... Garlic, green peppers, banana peppers, jalapenos, spinach, and low-fat mozzarella.0
-
Fresh tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, italian sausage (chicken or turkey if looking for a healthier alternative), goat cheese, and fresh basil.0
-
Tip: my boyfriend and I use a tortilla wrap instead of pizza crust (180 calories), we use pasta sauce instead of tomato sauce/paste and love loading it with broccoli, ground chicken, feta, red peppers and a bit of jalapeno havarti cheese and maybe some parmesan! Love it...gotta have that over the weekend actually0

We made pizza last night. I went with cheese and sausage. My personal pizza was 559 calories and 29g of protein. I don't know what your version of healthy is, so I don't know if that helps0

I like artichoke on homemade. Or olives. Oooh and roasted garlic.
We order one from our local pizzeria that is topped with broccoli, sliced tomato and crispy chicken.
I eat back all my exercise calories for this and I make no apologies.0 -
