How are the miles calculated? Can I use the mile approximation from my Fitbit? I don't know how accurate that is though. I any case, I want to join!

    WELCOME NEWBIES! :)

Any exercise you do is logged here. Example:
    walking 2.0 miles
    exercise bike 200.0 miles
    Jogging 6.0 miles
    etc etc etc...
This is per person. Too each his own. The goal is too reach at least 100 miles although things happen and some of us MAY not reach our goal and that's ok. It is that WE TRY AND WE MOVE. There is a good team here who motivate one another. I am happy too be part of this team...

girlpushups77.....Answer too YOUR question I hope I have answered?

johannainExile..... you DO NOT HAVE TOO GO SLOW! IF you are able too do more than that ...even much more...THEN GO FOR IT...We are so glad too have you here!

Emilyjo84 ....I have a pedometer. I use it for walking and on my treadmill when I use that. For my Exercise Bike I just use what THAT gives me. So you use whatever you have. As long as you're moving YOU'RE WINNING! (*)

gantzgirl87....I think I answered YOUR question at the top of the Post?

OK GUYS AND GALS...LEST DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (*)

Sunday 01 March -- 40.22 km (approx 2 hours ... maybe slightly more) with 227 metres of climbing.

On my touring bicycle outside in a rural area not far from Hobart.

    High temp: 17.7C
Wind gusting to 52 km/h (that presented a bit of a challenge)
Just a touch of drizzle at the beginning

First post! I've been on since 1-18-15 and serious about it for 2.5 weeks. I'm in on this, once I get some warmer weather (32F or better) here in Illinois those miles will go by quick on my bike!

5.1km road run, first in a long time, pretty slow, planning to go back to doing the free, timed 5k ParkRuns they do here in England.

I'd like to join. New here and new to the gym, so this will keep me on target.

So after every wokout, we just come here and post our miles?
