100 miles collectively, or per participant?0
-
How are the miles calculated? Can I use the mile approximation from my Fitbit? I don't know how accurate that is though. I any case, I want to join!0
-
So a daily average for 31 days is about 3.3 miles. I am IN!! Woo hoo!! I will go sooo slow, and still go 100 miles0

WELCOME NEWBIES!
Any exercise you do is logged here. Example:
walking 2.0 miles
exercise bike 200.0 miles
Jogging 6.0 miles
etc etc etc...
This is per person. Too each his own. The goal is too reach at least 100 miles although things happen and some of us MAY not reach our goal and that's ok. It is that WE TRY AND WE MOVE. There is a good team here who motivate one another. I am happy too be part of this team...
girlpushups77.....Answer too YOUR question I hope I have answered?
johannainExile..... you DO NOT HAVE TOO GO SLOW! IF you are able too do more than that ...even much more...THEN GO FOR IT...We are so glad too have you here!
Emilyjo84 ....I have a pedometer. I use it for walking and on my treadmill when I use that. For my Exercise Bike I just use what THAT gives me. So you use whatever you have. As long as you're moving YOU'RE WINNING! (*)
gantzgirl87....I think I answered YOUR question at the top of the Post?
OK GUYS AND GALS...LEST DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (*)0 -

Sunday 01 March -- 40.22 km (approx 2 hours ... maybe slightly more) with 227 metres of climbing.
On my touring bicycle outside in a rural area not far from Hobart.
High temp: 17.7C
Wind gusting to 52 km/h (that presented a bit of a challenge)
Just a touch of drizzle at the beginning0 -
First post! I've been on since 1-18-15 and serious about it for 2.5 weeks. I'm in on this, once I get some warmer weather (32F or better) here in Illinois those miles will go by quick on my bike!0
-
5.1km road run, first in a long time, pretty slow, planning to go back to doing the free, timed 5k ParkRuns they do here in England.0
-
I'd like to join. New here and new to the gym, so this will keep me on target.
So after every wokout, we just come here and post our miles?0 -

It is good too see more of you have joined. I would like too make a statement. SOME of you have invited me too be a 'friend.' I dont accept friends requests easily. IF you are serious about the exercise and support of this particular forum then I will keep you in my 'friends' list. Should you change your mind, back out, quit coming then I will delete you. It is NOT you. It is ME. I dont see having 100's of friends when you never see them around. In my friends list right now I have only FIVE. As long as you come 'HERE IN THIS POSTING AREA' I am happy with that. I LOVE seeing your progress and it does motivate ME.
For those of you that are new and do not know me: I started my journey in 2009. It took me THREE years too lose 50 pounds only too find I was Insulin resistant and is why I have such a difficult time losing weight. I was within 14 pounds of my goal when I had a neck and sholder injury in Dec which lasted thru February and still I have a few problems. At least I am now back too serious exercise.... I struggle yearly, monthly, weekly, daily . I am not sure that changes for anyone...If it does I have not met them yet! lol.... My GOAL is not too gain the weight back, too live a longer healthier life. It is not about looking good for me although we all want too look our best. I am 62 years old. I start these challenges every new year and have done so for several years now. I have years where there has only been a handful of people here. Sometimes I've finished the year almost by myself. I DO NOT GIVE UP whether anyone is here or not. I CAN NOT GIVE UP ON ME......I only ask that YOU DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOU...THAT is WHY we're here...too motivate one another along...
That being said I will attend Church Services today and try too get in some exercise in-between as well as a visit with my mom....
YOU GUYS CARRY ON.................................. (*)0 -

I would love to join this challenge, It will make me more accountable, and I'm trying to exercise at least 4miles a day. So, hopefully I'll be well over the 100 goal, but its definitely worth a shot!0
