Or low fat any kind of cheese, for that matter0 -

I consumer large(25+ packets) quantities of artificial sweetners a day and it does not lead me to eating more. Where did you hear this at. Some sort of reputable study?0 -
I sadly am.addicted to one of those very bad coffee creamer brands. Currently trying to get off of it. I wont buy anything with those ingredients for my kids but im ingesting it everyday ..........0

I watch for sugar and calories and sodium - I never read packages before using MFP and I am amazed at the sodium content in most frozen foods - it's scary. I use Splenda but for the most part I drink water, with an occasional Diet Coke0

Cauliflower or Liver - never ever oh and turkey bacon0

Haha, I actually don't mind it. Have to spice it up though. And depends on what it's going "on" but I'm all for experimenting in the name of decent calories vs protein foods0 -
Coconut that isn't fresh
olives
cilantro
canned jalapenos0 -

This.
While there are things I don't like, and things I don't generally eat, there is no one ingredient that I will say "no" to.0 -
Processed foods with too many ingredients, artificial sweeteners, food dye, just to name a few. When looking at recipes if it has too much added sugar I'll pass by it, too.0
-
Artificial sweeteners because I have yet to taste one that isn't totally awful. And, no, stevia is not a special snowflake exception, all the sweeteners start as plants, from sugar to splenda. Except sugar actually tastes good. Splenda/aspartame/stevia? BLERGH.
Anything else is fair game until I learn that it tastes bad. Hoping that someday I'll get over visible bug fear (because I know I've eaten bugs and their bits unwittingly) because they are an awesome source of sustainable protein.0 -
Sugar, I do my best to keep sugar out of my diet. Also, I try to stick to organics and fresh food.0

Anything that says low fat..but not really for nutrutional / dietary reasons. Was having a bad day once, decided to buy ice cream..I dont buy it all that much.. saw a flavour that looked interesting, but it said low fat. I got annoyed, cause I was like, I had too bad a day to not even get all the fat in my ice cream!! Kiddo and I now joke about that.
But my favorite ice cream now is the Trader Joes Soy bars...which is about as low in fat as you can ever possibly get. Theyre not even really ice cream. Because Im a hypocrite, thats why! LoL but I still shirk from anything with low fat on the label.0 -
Trans fats. Ugh, I bought microwave popcorn w/out looking at the label one time--7...SEVEN grams of trans fat per serving! Never again.
High sodium. Especially if it's something I can pretty easily make myself with less sodium, or has a tasty low-sodium version, i.e. soups, canned beans or tomatoes (all come in low/no sodium versions for the same price).
As far as sugar free and/or low/no fat foods--eh, it depends. I like nonfat yogurt, but despise low fat cheese. Nonfat creamer is okay, but never fat free ranch dressing (blech). And you can have my Diet Coke when you pry it from my cold, dead, and refreshed hand0 -
pgpr (Polyglycerol polyricinoleate)0

I'll eat anything that doesn't eat me first.0

Palm oil. It's horrid that companies are still using it and devastating orangutan habitat when there are perfectly viable alternatives.0
-
Almonds, hazelnuts, and olives. Only cause i found out the hard way i'm allergic.0

Used to LOVE vitamin water. Then one day I bought a nice cold one, took a big gulp... and immediately up-chucked the gulp. Looked at the ingredients: stevia! Looked at the last bottle I'd gotten: no stevia! This was the 'normal' one too -- not low sugar or zero.
Same thing almost happened with instant hot chocolate. Luckily I smelled it soon as I pored it into the cup. Went back to the store: EVERY brand now puts it in, apparently! Only one that doesn't: the publix brand with marshmallows (the one without does).
I don't know if they're trying to make stuff even more sweet, or are trying to lower the amount of sugar, or what... but it's *gross*. This isn't a matter of learning to tolerate it either: my entire life my mom always only had diet drinks in the house. Tried and tried to learn to like it: my stomach immediately retches soon as the taste of ANY of the 'fake' sugar touches my tongue. It should never, ever be a replacement or addition to something sweet, unless it's specifically supposed to be 'diet' and marketed toward such people who need sweet but can't/won't do sugar. Drives me mad. </rant>
Stevia isn't an artificial sweetener, it's an herb, no different than most spices.0 -
for allergies, mostly artificial things and a few whole food items that aren't commonly in many things
but for recipes...I really hate seeing open a can of this and that blah blah blah then mix and it's homemade! Nope! and again Nope!
as far as stevia....it's just weird. I find it kind of ok in iced tea and very limited other things, but it leaves a weird feeling in my mouth and bitter aftertaste. I've tried it fresh, growing my own, and the highly processed options available.

Aspartame, anything hydrogenated, potassium bromate/bromide and potassium benzoate, anything in a non bpa free can, anything in a jar with a bpa lined lid, sodium nitrates and nitrites that are not from celery salt, artificial vanilla, castoreum (beaver anal extract - look it up) and high frusctose corn syrup. Those are my mains lol0
-
I have food allergies to dairy and soy and I am gluten intolerant, so those are automatic put backs. I also avoid artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils, HFCS, MSG, "natural flavoring or natural spices" (other names that the FDA has allowed to be used for MSG) nitrites/nitrates, sulfates, corn (almost all corn is gmo) anything that is GMO, and preservatives.....I am currently trying to cut sugar out so I avoid things with more than 4 grams of sugar. It's really hard to get all the toxic crap out of our diets when they keep coming up with new allowable names for things. My allow list is shorter than my won't allow list and I have yet to find a good protein bar that is dairy free, soy free, gluten free and doesn't have any of the no no's in it.0

That's the case only if you are clipping leaves from your stevia plant and adding them to your tea. If you are using powders or drops? It's no closer to nature than the aspartame they make from fruit peels or the sucralose (Splenda) they make from cane and beet sugars.
And, nothing can be said that makes it taste OK. Wretched stuff.0 -
Cheese, because if I start I won't stop and oils... never cook with oil.0
