Struggles or successes of your week: happy for the loss, but I was actually hoping for more since I didn't lose any last week. ( I've noticed a pattern in my weight loss - 3 weeks where I lose and then one that I don't). I stayed way under calories and tracked everything, but I think a little too much wine Saturday night didn't help.

Mollie, I struggle with the same thing with my calorie counts but staying way under calories will hurt your ability to lose weight not help.. If you have your settings correct the minimum caloric intake is required to help you continue to lose weight. If you don't get enough calories to fuel the engine it will stall and sit at weight no matter what you do. I am no expert and struggle with my own demons I just wanted to be supportive and encourage you to eat more. It sounds counter productive but it works.

Thanks for the advice! Mfp suggested 1500 but I have just been doing 1200. It's contrary to what I've always done in the past, but from everything I've read on here lately, everyone keeps saying every deficit helps. I'll definitely try an exact 1500 this week and see how it goes.

Struggles or successes of your week: Finally the scale moved downwards. After two weeks of no change (or upward), I see a loss! Slow and steady. I have been extra hungry today...and caved and had an unhealthy snack. Still within calories, but it wasn't worth it (still hungry).

Struggles or successes of your week: I think my starting weight might actually be a pound or two lower. I've been very bloated from lack of water/too many salty snacks lately. But I guess we will see as I continue to log. If this is my accurate starting weight, I'd be very happy with 151 by the end of the month. Struggling with being home for spring break, because I'm often home alone. Just me and the fridge haha But I'm excited to be back on the proverbial wagon and focusing on my health again in earnest :)

Struggles or successes of your week: I hit my calorie goal every day, kept the water intake up, and got several workouts in. When I prepare my lunch for the next day, I log the entire day. It helps to plan ahead and log everything ahead of time. I have several shirts in my closet that I've never worn because I didn't like the way they fit. Well I tried one on yesterday for the hell of it and it fit! It keeps me determined and focused on my goal.

I haven't had many struggles other than just keeping my head in the game. I live in southern Louisiana and it's crawfish season! Although I haven't had any yet this season, we have several boils coming up in the upcoming weeks and that will be my greatest challenge...lots of food, beer, and sodium.
