The reason I posted this as I have a theory that a lowered heart rate is a physiological response to a prolonged caloric deficit, ie, one way your body lowers metabolism. The answers given here aremostly quite low, with the average being between 60 to 80 in the general population, with most here well below 60. It may be that mostly only very fit people responded to this thread and it means nothing at all, or it might be a real thing.0

Mitty, I suspect that you are correct that only those who have been exercising (maybe even, cardio exercises mostly) regularly have replied.
