i am 5ft
147lbs
was eating 1200, stopped losing
doing 5-6 days of HIIT Burning 150-300 calories per 25 minutes
increased to 1400 now losing again.
whats everyone else doing?

5'2, 1500 cals/day
workout an hour every day, mostly cardio0 -
5'2, 116 @ 1400 cals/day (technically more like 1500 but adjusted down to help account for logging errors)
I do a full body dumbbell workout 3 days a week. Some cardio.
Not really even trying to lose but have lost 2 lbs since New Years.0 -
5'2 and eating 1300 calories a day to lose 1 pound a week.
I do half hour cardio and half hour resistance training 4-5 hours a week but don't eat back my calories unless I'm having a hungry day0 -

I'm 5'2". I've been at 1200 calories for 2 weeks, I do the 30 Day Shred 6 days a week, and I eat back my calories. After doing a little more research, I increased my calories to 1360 (after exercise).
I dropped 2lbs the first week, but I haven't seen anything since.0 -
5' 5", 122 #, but 48 years old. I'm set at 1200 calories, but eat back all my exercise calories which puts me at 1400-1450 most days. I've lost 7-8 pounds since the beginning of the year - slow pace.0

I am 5ft and 126lbs. I have lost 10 lbs on 1200 cals but have been stuck on the same weight for the past three weeks. I spin twice a week, and treadmill for 30 mins three times. Am thinking of increasing calories to shift some more, just a bit hesitant at the moment.1

I'm 5'4" an 47 yo, and to lose weight doing simple walking 3.5 - 4 on a treadmill 5 days a week (minimum 10,000 fitbit steps a day), no heavy cardio or weights, i need to eat 900 - 1000 a day to lose weight. To maintain my weight with this level of exercise 1200 calories. I eat low carb (45 carbs max per meal, no snacks), cook from scratch, 8-10 cups water daily minimum. I've lost 40 lbs and maintained within 3 lbs for 3 1/2 years.0

Im 4'11, 128lbs. Ive been eating around 1200-1500 and doing cardio/strength training 4-5 days a week. Started counting calories about 5 weeks ago, have lost 5 lbs so far, BF% has gone down from 36.2% to 28.2% which means my lean mass has actually gone up 7.6lbs.0

Starting weight 205 lbs
Currently maintaining at 120 lbs.
When I was at my highest, I started at 1450 calories per day to lose 1 lb a week. MFP took away 50 calories per 10 lbs lost, until I hit 1200 calories per day. I ate back half my exercise calories and averaged 1.5 lbs lost per week. I biked a lot a lot a lot for most of last year (like 100+ miles a week), on top of going to the gym 3-4 days per week for weight lifting.
I was also meticulous about calorie counting. I weighed everything, except when I ate out. So, I'm pretty confident in the correctness of my calories in computation. Calories out is always a bit hit or miss, which is why I ate back only half.
I'm currently maintaining at 120 lbs and am eating 1500 calories per day. I've just started biking again, so have given myself 1800 calories per day. I continue to weigh in daily and will monitor to make sure I'm not losing or gaining too much.
Be very diligent about weighing your food, and then see how much you need to eat to lose.0 -
5'2" and on 1200 lost 16 lb this year but only 1 lb in the last month but working out loads and shape changing so not too sad but would like a bigger drop0

I set mine at 1205 but eat back all my exercise calories so it's closer to 1400-1500 and try to meet protein goals. Workouts typically 4-5x a week doing HIIT, cardio, and some strength exercises. I might increase my calories closer to my goal weight.
The main reason I stopped losing weight was not logging correctly and messing up on weekends with drinking and eating. I got a food scale and started seeing better results but they are still slow due to my overeating on weekends. I got down to 126lbs when I was super disciplined with this schedule so I know it's possible for me again.0 -

I am 5'0. I eat about 1500 1700 calories daily, low carb and I weigh 128. I would lime to drop 8 more lbs, but keep my muscle. I usually burn 500-600 calories from, bootcamp, kettle, spin, yoga, runs, etc. Its a tuff battle with those last 10 lbs.0

5 foot and 115. My eating varies with how much I work out since I eat back my exercise calories so between 1500-1900 a day.0

5'2", 1200 a day, age 52, 50 minutes of moderate cardio 5 days a week, no weights. Typically don't eat back exercise calories. Once I put in my garden (strenuous stuff), I'm hopeful the last few pounds will come off more quickly.0

Mainly walking and rollerblading for my work out usually 5/6 days a week ( depending on the weather here in MN).

I'm 5'1" and pretty new here so this thread is awesome and helpful for me. I weigh 198, and I've lost 10 so far eating 1200 calories per day. If any of you wants to add me that would be awesome. It's very helpful to hear from other shorties0

I tend to eat between 1200 and 1600 calories per day. I workout for 1-1/2 to 2 hours per day doing weight training and heavy cardio. Usually, MFP has me at between 300-500 calories left for the day.0 -

5'3" 141lb Eating 1600-1800cal, not eating back exercise calories (Swimming 3-4 times a week, walking and bodyweight training). I was on 1500cal but with swimming, I was losing to quickly.0

5'2 and weigh in at 138 I am just starting out here.
My calories are set at 1540 and I don't eat back my exercise calories. I do crossfit 5 days a week (I'm lifting very heavy) and the other two days I walk 4-5 miles. My weight goal is to get down to 112 that's where I felt my best and my clothes fit best.
My problem is my thighs are getting huge and I don't want that. I wish it was my butt getting huge instead. I'm trying to focus on not using my quads so much and trying to squeeze my butt when lifting.0 -
