On the way home, stopped for some fro-yo. Butter pecan with walnuts and a little chocolate syrup.

Homemade pizzas tonight: Lemon-basil-Asiago-black pepper, & a burst tomato-roast garlic-mozzarella. I thought these pieces were leftovers, but they've mysteriously disappeared from the fridge... xvihfhhog0ok.jpg

Roast lamb, I have it with non starchy vegetables and my hubs and children have roast potatoes and gravy.

I eat low carb, dairy free, and mainly gluten free.

Our riff on surf and turf to celebrate the first day of spring (which came here with a -15C temperature and some snow, yay!): crabe cake with spicy remoulade, marinated sirloin steak, home fries and a shitload of broiled asparagus.

    That was good.

Tonight was a plain baked yam, corn, rotisserie chicken, fresh veggies (asparagus, red bell pepper and cucumber), and green grapes. Lots of yumminess.

Picture not as neat as I wanted to, but still. Homemade brunch this morning: sunchoke hash with ham, kale and leftover asparagus, topped with two eggs and gratinéed with gruyère de grotte.

    Man, this was good (again!).

Used up leftovers from my salmon dinner the other night. Made a salmon salad sandwich with chopped onion, celery, cucumber, tomato, broccoli, asian coleslaw, romaine lettuce, mayo, garlic salt and black pepper; rice pilaf with chopped broccoli, corn, pecorino cheese, and salmon; cucumber and a couple little roasted potatoes.
