I'm still relatively new to this app. How do I log all the work I do at the gym?

Under the cardio section you would search for "strength training" and log that. Myfitnesspal does overestimate the calories burned though. I only eat back about half the exercise calories because of there crazy over estimations.

Go to diary and press the add button. You should see cardio or strength exercises.

Some of the machines aren't an option though. Can I make the exercise? How do I know how many calories that burns

You might want to check out this site. I think it's a lot easier than trying to log all of your exercises every day.

    http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

You plug in your stats, and your activity level, then it gives you back a daily calorie count to follow every day.
