I actually had to go to the store to buy more fruits and veggies! I've been notorious for buying a fridge full of healthy food, and then having to throw it all away because of going on an all hot pocket diet two days later.
Today I had to go back because I was cranky without my fruit! When I was walking down the isles with my hubby, I was looking at the fruit snacks and snack cakes and it hit me how unappealing they all were... And then I about threw a fit when I got home and realized I forgot my pineapple! I think the hubby is wondering where space invader me stashed the real me lol!

I was drying off after a shower the other day when I noticed the veins in my biceps are starting to show. I've always had the big "farm boy" muscles but never seriously lifted weights in my life, so these veins are just from getting leaner.

Got told I was looking powerful by a friend in the gym, very chuffed, never had that before, plus I really think I need to buy a new belt as I have now just punched a fifth hole into the one I use for work.

Wearing a cardigan that just skims the waistband of my jeans today. Totally forgot that lifting my arms up or sitting down would show a little skin. Normally I'd be mortified but today, I am loving the little skin that it's showing!

I got a sweater on Saturday, I typically wear a XL, but got a L for this one. I wore it to work for the first time today, and a co-worker informed me that it is to big! I guess that maybe looking at Medium cardigans is in order!

I bought a bikini (that was a first ever in my life). I am not planning to wear in public (that is why i bought a cheaper one at Target) but I put in on this past Monday and took front, side and back pictures. That was DAY 1 of my 100 DAY challenge. On Day 100 (July 1st) I am going to put that bikini and take more pictures and hope for some amazing results.

I have had a really long and stressful week at work. I haven't managed to get out for my regular lunchtime runs at all - my running gear has sat unused taunting me from under my desk since Monday. But I have ridden my bike on my indoor trainer each night instead, even if it meant I finished riding at 11pm. And I kept in my calorie goal all week. I'm so stoked, because the wagon and I would have normally parted ways on Monday on a week like this and it would have been a week of takeaways and self pity. This is much better

I have now made Sunday evenings "bubble bath night" because I love how the water can easily flow around me in my 1950's size tub!

I threw on my capri pants today... they are snug, but they fit pretty well. Looked at the tag in the bathroom at work, they are two sizes smaller than I have been wearing! Maybe it is time to start thinning out the closet again!!!

I was working on bent arm hangs today. Until this morning, the longest I have been able to hang from the bar was 33 seconds. Today, I did it for 40 seconds!

I recently read somewhere that if you can hang from the bar for 30-45 seconds, that you can most likely complete one chin-up. I guess I need to give that a try!

When I started losing weight I decided each week I would have a splurge day. So during the week if I wanted this super fattening cake or really sugary drink, I would save it for that day. Today was my splurge day, I'm now a little over 30 days into my "life style" change, and all day today I ate normally. Just another day. I made some chocolate chocolate brownies for dessert tonight and could only eat half of the brownie and stayed in my calorie goal! Funny thing is, I bought all of the stuff for brownies like two weeks ago and forgot they were even in my cabinet.

The scale hasn't moved in months but the size 14pants I bought about 2months ago are starting to get big in the bum.... I am starting to accept that the number on the scale is not the be all and end all.

My jeans have been getting too big but I was waiting to buy new ones. Today I realized they were just too big to continue wearing and went to the store to buy new ones - got them TWO sizes smaller!

Several months ago before I started on MFP, I went to the mall and tried on a pair of jeans in what I thought was my size in a slim cut. I couldn't even button them, and it sucked because it was the largest size they carried in-store. I bought a different cut in the same size that was fuller, but even those were a bit tight (but at least I could button them).

Recently, my jeans (and other clothing) have felt a lot looser, to the point that the jeans I bought several months back I can pull down without unbuttoning them. So on a whim I ordered the slim cut jeans (sale), same size since I didn't think I lost enough to actually go down in size, and they are a slimmer cut. They came in the mail today, and not only they fit now, but they are a bit loose .

Was able to hold crow pose for a few seconds in yoga today! Been trying this move for almost 3 months and never got close to lifting ONE foot, let alone both. I credit SL 5x5 and one day those toes will be at the proper height.

Also was able to wear a size smaller in shorts today. I've been trying them on every week for a month, watching the snaps get closer and closer. Funny thing, I think I weighed less than I do now when they fit me before. I love inches disappearing!

Dragged myself to the gym despite being tired from work, and ended up adding +10 to my squat, +15 DL, and FINALLY +5 to my bench. I'm so pumped!!

I also train muay thai, and a couple nights ago my pad holder told me that she would never spar against me because "you could knock a b***h out with that hook." Lol.

awesome nsv! one day I will be able to do that too!

My nsv is that I ran 9.5km today - my longest run in years. Was hard, windy and my legs were tired, but I did it. On track for my half marathon in July!

This happened to me last night too. :D Always a great sign! P.S. Your name is one of my friends' nicknames for me! Good choice!
