1st April:
Weight lost/gained this week: 7lb gain
Weight lost/gained this month: 1lb
Successes this week: Went back to the gym even though I was feeling down after all the weight gain.
Struggles this week: 7lbs on after a weekend in barcelona. Now I know I over ate, but 7lbs!!! . And even two days later it's not come off, so its not water weight. Back to the beginning. I doubt I'll meet my March goal weight now.
Dont feel like youre back to the beginning... in my 4th week, I gained 5lbs after a week long work trip, which took me right back up to my starting weight, but instead of taking me another 4 weeks to get it off, it took about 5 or 6 days. It was water weight from all the additional sodium, but it just took some time of drinking tons of water for it to peel back off.
I *seriously* doubt you ate in excess of 24,000 calories during your trip to actually gain that weight back. Just get right back on track and keep going...!!0 -

Successes/struggles this week: No real struggles this week just that a couple of days I felt very very hungry. I increased my exercise by a bit so I think my body might be getting used to that change and I am hoping for a bigger loss next week. As far as success go I put on a pair of size 14 pants that I have been able to wear for at least 5-6 years and they fit a bit snug but I am able to wear them!!!!
Everyone have a good week!!0 -

Start Weight (1st March): 228.8
Goal Weight (1st April): 219 or about 99kgs This would be amazing but will take some effort as I've only lost on average under 2 pounds a week so losing 10 in a month will need some serious effort...

22nd March: 221.5
29th March: 221.7

Weight lost this week: + .2lbs - whoops
Weight lost this month. 7.1lbs - Grrrrrrrr... so cranky with self So close to my goal I can taste it yet the self saboteur came in to full flight and I spent a whole day eating non stop. I'm lucky it was only a .2 of a lb increase. Probably won't make it now but still overall the month has been a good one
WK 1 A better week, hitting the exercise hard, well hard for me and this is starting to show.. Yay me!! Though not feeling confident about reaching the March Goal
Wk 2 Not the best week & not the best start... Far too much high sugar & empty calorie foods. Focus girlfriend... Focus... Pretty good movie to by the way..
WK 3 Surprised by this result. Haven't had the best of weeks but a great loss and I feel more positive about racing my March goal0 -

Weight lost/gained this month: 4
Successes/struggles this week:
March 1 - struggling with bloating and constipation
March 8 - eating within 1200 calories
March 15 - mild bloating (no salads for 2 days and no mini meals throughout the day),
dealing with hubby who wants to eat not healthily
March 22 - Again suffering from bloating, trying to have higher fibre foods and flax, Hurt back yesterday so unable to exercise, still sore today.
March 29 - Had terrible week, Gained 4 pounds and lost 4 pounds, only explanation I can figure is a combination of Ground Flax seed (2 tbsp/day) was too much and I was blocked up combined with the pain killers I was taking last week due to hurt neck/back. Thankfully I've managed to loose it again. Stopped the Flax and ate corn to help pass the block, it worked.0 -

I guess most of the Jamaican weight gain was water because with just a little determination and self-denial it is gone again as well as another pound. Saturday I challenged myself to set a new all-time personal calorie burn record and logged 1944 calories burned through cardio (as measured with my Polar M400 HRM), as a result my net calories were negative for the day.

Hi everyone!!!!

1st April:
Weight lost/gained this week: +1.5lbs
Weight lost/gained this month: -1.5lbs
Successes/struggles this week:
Had a really busy stressful week including a really important interview on Wednesday and a full on training day on Thursday. My nerves got the better of me and I had lots of trouble sleeping early in the week. My exercise routine was completely disrupted and I had to eat out or get take away a few times instead of having all home cooked meals. Hence the 1.5lb gain!!! But, my week did improve because I went on an awesome spa day yesterday with friends (for my friend's 50th b'day) so I got to relax, get a massage and then we had afternoon tea with prosecco. Bliss!!!
I'm obviously not going to hit my target this month....but maybe I'll drop a lb or two before our last weigh in.
I have joined a 3 month challenge group elsewhere on the forum. The lady who has set it up seems to be great at motivating others and keeping people accountable. I need a bit of a push so I'm hoping it will help. So, I won't be setting up (or taking part in) an April challenge but I hope one of you lovely people will do so as it seems to be helping lots of people. Any takers?
Good Luck everyone!!!0 -
