I have not been able to lose any weight past 180. I do intermittent fasting, my calories are all below the calorie goal, and I work out every single day! I'm 5 foot 4 inches and 181.8 pounds. Please give advice..

If you open your diary, people may be able to give you specific advice.0
-
We need more information. Start weight goal weight calorie allowance per day. Open your food diary for some real help.0
-
Also are you using a food scale to weigh your food, are you working out, do you eat back your exercise calories?0
-
How long have you been trying, what do you do for exercise, and if you make your diary public, much easier to offer advice.0
-
Why is weight loss important?
Can you give some info?
Age
Height
Weight
Appx body fat%
Maybe I can help you understand.0 -

Plus she included her height and her weight in the post, and the average person doesn't know their body fat percentage0 -

None of that is really as important as seeing how much you're eating. Opening your diary will probably get you some better advice.0 -

Low-carb doesn't matter, eating after six doesn't matter, we need to see your diary, we need to know if using a food scale and if eating back your exercise calories0 -
How long ago did you have your baby?0

She just had a baby.
She shouldn't be worrying about weight loss.
Blankie, my education background is nutrition and kinesiology with a new focus on habit change.
Every question I ask, ive asked 100s of clients.0 -

We don't really know what "just" had a baby means. She could have a two-week old. She could have a three-month-old.0 -

One more question, are you breast-feeding? Sorry for the personal question but that really affects The diet you need to have right now.0

Are you measuring your solid food or are you weighing it on a food scale? How long have you been at 1,700?0 -
Don't knock @Helloitsdan - he knows his stuff, and offers great advice. BEST move I ever made was following his info about three years ago. Since then I have lost the fat, reached my goals and am striving for new goals all the time - and have maintained my success for 3+ years.
If he offers to help - take it! :drinker:0 -
Not breast feeding.
I had my baby 8 weeks ago.

Are you weighing and measuring all of your food? If not, how do you know you are at a strict 1700 calories?

Yes. If you are not weighing your food, you have no idea if you are actually eating 1,700 calories or not. You could be eating much more.0 -

Okay perfect.
The defensive tone isnt necessary since I'm nonjudgmental.
What's the best goal weight for you in 6 months?
Recommendations are between 6-10% body weight reduction.

Barcode scanner on everything I eat unless it's a fresh vegetable.0 -
8 weeks though, maybe your hormones are still out of whack and you'll start losing again after they level off.0
-
carbs and eating after (any) time don't matter. You've been asked some good questions but haven't answered. Until you DO, no one can really help. Opening your diary would be a HUGE way to help others, help you.
How long ago did you have your baby
do you weigh your food on a scale
are you breastfeeding0 -

Yes. Weighing all solid and semi solid (like peanut butter) foods and measuring all liquid foods is the only way to know how much you are eating. It is very easy to overestimate your portions and eat more than you think.

But without a scale, you can underestimate how much of it you are eating. The scanner helps you find the database entry for the food. But the scale lets you know how many calories you're actually consuming of that item.0 -
I'm not questioning skills just most the questions he asked were already answered in the OP
And yes it's very important to weigh your food, if you're not using a food scale you really don't know how many calories you're eating.0
