    @skippygirlsmom ... a lot better, I am just a stupid donut who thinks he can do more than age allows :) ... having said that, would not want it any other way ... trying to go half-power (although the more clever option) feels like cheating ... did I mention I was a stupid donut?

    4 miles for me today (well...the gps said 3.97, but I'm counting it as 4!). Brings my total to 14.5! Woot!!! :)

    Okay - better ticker. I actually ran 3.33 miles, but I can't bring myself to put that in ... I'm a round numbers girl. ;)

    4/1: 4 miles, 10:02 pace (where did that come from?)
    4/2: 3 miles, 9:41 pace (again - no clue how I'm going so fast) + weights
    4/3: REST

    LOL well don't get hurt while you are being a "stupid donut".

    @beccajayn you're welcome. When Skip first mentioned running I was in a panic, until the doctor said it could help. She hasn't had an attack (knock on wood) in almost 2 years. She will occasionally use her rescue inhaler after a race but it's usually because she's coughing, after a few puffs and 20 mins it calms down.

    @4leighbee I like this ticker too

    75 miles again for me, but this time I'm only counting the miles I run. Walking miles are just a bonus.

    @4leighbee I had picked that ticker out also. :)

    I had to run with my 4 year old in the jogging stroller today and I wasn't feeling super motivated. My Garmin Forerunner 220 came today though so I had to go try it out. I ended up doing 3 miles using 3 minute run/1 minute walk intervals. I really like the watch.

    @candragiarette - Yes! Yay you! You are doing great and getting in some good consistent runs - keep it up!!
    @iofred - glad you are no longer seeing black spots! Don't use age as an excuse though, just keep pushing and you will go further/longer/faster than you thought possible. Note - I am quite a bit older than you and have been running only a little over 3 years so was quite a bit older than you are now, when I started!
    @skippygirlsmom - I didn't look closely at your profile picture and thought it was the one with the snow :laugh:

    Maybe for my first 10k ever, I shouldn't have done the very hilly coulee trail. HAHA! Hubby and I are pretty sore! But I DID 10K!!! Fair amount of walking, but I still did it in my mind.

    4/3 4 miles speed intervals 1:10 fast, 1:50 slow.
    4/2 2.5 Miles - I dunno pace because the Garmin is broken again. Grr. But I do know it was slow.

    I can't remember her name, but am sure she was still running in February/early March?
    (have tried searching but having issues navigating my way round :neutral: )

    It is @runningmischka - I know she said she had to cut down her miles, but I don't remember seeing that she had her baby.
