There is no such thing as a diet pill. Sorry.0

Snake oil products.
They don't do anything.0 -
I'm afraid that most people in this community are against the use of diet pills and such; they don't do anything for you in the long run, (most of them don't really do anything for you in the short run), and most of them say that you still need to eat healthily and exercise whilst taking them (so basically, eat at a calorie deficit which IS what everyone on this site promotes).
So just a heads up, the majority of the answers you will get here will be people telling you it is a waste of money, no such things as a quick fix, and just stick to calories in vs calories out. As someone who has tried many diet pills, teas, and other 'quick fixes' in the past, i would totally agree with those people.0 -
MFP does not endorse use of diet pills. At best they are worthless and at worst they can kill you.
My sister-in-law took Phen-Fen under a doctors supervision and it almost killed her. She is now on disability, her health is absolutely destroyed and the weight is back.
Your only solution is to simply eat less than you have been.0 -

No.
And also, by "pregnancy complications" do you mean that someday, you would like to have children? Or do you mean that you are pregnant now?
Because if you're pregnant now, I can't even imagine the amount of damage you could do to an unborn child taking diet pills during pregnancy. Really, really dangerous.0 -
Get yourself a pregnancy multivitamin with Folic Acid in it to prevent certain kinds of birth defects.
Eat a reasonable amount of food and you will lose weight.0 -

Diet pills don't work. There's a reason the claims they make seem too good to be true... They are. Most of them are not FDA regulated so god only knows what you are putting into your body. Scary! And if you are pregnant now, it's even more dangerous. You could do irreversible damage to your baby. Focus on getting balanced, healthy meals and snacks that total less calories than you burn throughout the day and get active! Also take a multivitamin to get all the nutrients you might miss from food and drink plenty of water!0

Diet pills don't work for long term results! However, I do recommend supplements to assist in your goals! I take a multivitamin and I also take stuff to assist in my workouts! Otherwise, its nutritious food and exercise!0

Thank you so much guys FYI I'm not pregnant at all.. What I meant was if I take diet pills now later on will it cause any complications to my pregnancy if I wanted to have a baby in future. And moreover I'm still 70kgs even though I'm in to calorie deficit0

I tried that green coffee bean extract stuff "Dr." Oz was toting for a while and it caused my anxiety to skyrocket and I had so many panic attacks because of them. My manager at work saw me taking them and made me throw them out, thankfully.
Like my mom has ALWAYS told me, if there was a diet pill that worked, Oprah would've talked all about it. It would have clinical studies proven, and it would be the biggest money maker ever. But there isn't one that actually works, and many haven't gone through proper testing and can be dangerous to your health.0 -

You weigh 70kgs and in your profile pic you certainly don't look like someone with a lot to lose.
How tall are you?

I'm interested in an answer too. After loosing 80 lbs without diet pills, I still have at least 65 lbs to loose before attempting IUI fertility option. I've been trying to loose it for about 9 months and only lost 10 lbs, which I gained back. My OBGYN started me on Contrave and said to stop it at least a month before trying to conceive. I went ahead and started it. I've lost 6 lbs this first week. I'm following up with my Fertility Doctor in a few weeks to discuss his opinion on how long to wait before starting the process.

Most diet pills are basically legal speed. Even if they do help/cause you to lose weight, you don't develop the habits you need to keep the weight off once you quit taking them.0

If you want to know how wonderful "diet pills" are, go watch the movie "Requiem For A Dream".0

Ok, the problem with a lot of diet pills that you can get over the counter us that they are "supplements". This means that the FDA has no jurisdiction over them. Makers don't have to test these pills to even show that they work. They certainly don't do long term tests to look at things like fertility.
They can be dangerous or the can be useless. If they were useful a legit pharma company would work it into real medicine fast. As it stands you have no way of knowing if these things are good, bad or just useless0 -

If you are not losing weight, you are not eating at a calorie deficit.
If you want help figuring out where you are going wrong, please open your diary so we can give specific advice.
Make sure you weigh your food, log everything you eat and drink, ensure you are using accurate entries, log your exercise calories and eat a portion of them back.

I like your mom, and what she said sounds like what my mom would have said if she were alive today. She always told me that losing weight was not about WHAT you eat but about HOW MUCH you eat. She's been gone for years, but I just started listening to that advice in the past few years.0
