You didn't ask but I am 40 years old and my activity level is sedentary.

My calorie goal is 1270. I typically eat between 1300 and 1500.
NEAT method. I eat around half of the exercise calories. If I am really hungry I eat more than half.
I don't know my body fat percentage.
I try to do about 30 minutes of some exercise every day. Some days I do more.

Female, 27, 5'6 and 151lbs. Was 157 with TDEE 2015. Eating at 1600 calories daily (was eating 1400 but increased and now have plateaued... Cruel world hehe). Workout 5-6 days a week for an hour each day, both cardio and weights. I live a sedentary lifestyle. My body fat percent is 32%. I don't eat back my calories every day, only if I find I'm extremely hungry and even then it's only a small amount.0

Hola!
Sex: Female
Weight: 189 lbs
Body Fat: approx 28% (using a caliper)
Height: 5'2"
Calorie Intake: approx 1650 daily using the 20% TDEE deficit method.
The scale is actually moving now, whereas I was eating 1300 and was stuck on a 3 month plateau... yeah, 3 months (I believe I was under-eating and over-training). My goal is to get as close to my lean body mass as possible (around 136 lbs) and for my body fat to be in the low 20's or even high teens. Giving myself about a year to get there.
Hope this helps!0 -
Sex: Female
Height: 5ft 1ins
Weight: 175.4lbs
Method: I have no idea, I keep changing my mind, I use a fitbit and it confuses me lol Average TDEE is around 2400. Lazy days I only burn around 1600. Still losing though. One minute I eat according to my fitbit the next I have a set amount.
Calories: Going to aim for 1900.
BF: 37.7
Exercise: Running (5k) 3-6 days a week. Starting SS 5x5 soon0 -

I lost a good chunk of my 40 Lbs using the TDEE method. Note that if done correctly, TDEE and NEAT are basically 6 of 1, the only difference is where you account for your exercise.0 -

Correct. TDEE factors in your activity level already, and therefore includes your exercise on average.

Poorly attempting a reverse diet and trying to find my TDEE via NEAT. Ummm so like net I have been eating at 2400- 2500 weekly average for the last 3-4 weeks. I have been gaining some but weight is leveling out now.
BF% Way higher than it should be.
Exercise = being lazy as possible? Seriously I do a bodyweight routine every other day and try for light jogs in between.

Baseline was 1510 until I just dropped 1.5 more lbs, now it's 1470.
Exercise =
*5 mile round-trip w/ hills daily bike commute
*2X a 3-4 mile run per week
*2-3 30-40 minute ab/core/back/arm exercise videos per week
I I've been here 47 days, and lost 11 lbs so far. So I guess it's working
I go out drinking/dancing about once every two weeks - and those days are my "cheat" days purely because of the alcohol.0
