Wow. Up 3 pounds. Yuck.
But I know that it's mainly water weight, PMS, and I simply ate too much on the weekend--but no where near the amount of calories it takes to make up even one pound, let alone 3. This morning, my ring was tight (it's way too big usually), so I know that I'm retaining a ton of water.
This weeks goal: exercise daily!!! And drink my water!! And the MAIN one--cut down after dinner snacking. That kills me.0 -

I'm late, I know! Don't know if I hope you can still get me in, or not, considering my poor results.
Had a bad weekend, again! Two in a row! I visited my grandson in Florida; ate where he wanted to eat. While he was eating buffalo wings, I ate salad without dressing made out of iceberg and tomatoes. Went to a pancake house, and ordered egg beaters, but still...it's hard not to eat at all! The movie popcorn (I ordered it without butter) is probably what did me in.
Even technology was against me. No computer access, and my phone battery decided to take the weekend off. (I had my house charger, but not my car charger.) I tried to remember what I ate, but didn't get everything logged.
Then there was the exercise. We went to the beach, but he couldn't swim, so we walked, slowly. Then we went to Toys R Us and the bookstore.
So, the scales moved...down on Tuesday through Friday, and back UP on Tuesday. Doh! How is it that it takes 7 days of eating 500 calories less than maintenance to lose a pound, but it takes two days of not-exactly-bingeing to gain 3? (Even 1/2 of a large buttered movie popcorn is not 10,500 calories!)0 -

Congratulations Everyone on the great week... Here's to a new week, and new challenges!
Challenge 1: Try a new food or healthy supplement ect this week...(ie vegetable, fruit, meat, bean, coconut oil, coconut water, flax, chia seeds, the list goes on... tell us what you tried and what you thought of it!)
Challenge 2: 10 sit-ups or crunches every day, whether they be assisted, with weights, modified... just do them0 -

This week I have been trying Muscle Milk Light after my workouts. I think it tastes great and gives me a boost of proteins after my workout without all the carbs or sugar.
I started a sit-ups challenge with some MFP friends beginning May 1st. We are all doing 100 sit-ups/crunches everyday during the month of May.0 -
I actually tried vanilla almond milk...I was skeptical..cause I do not like soy, and I thought it would taste the same...It taste YUMMY! I'm in love...
....and oh yeah...my abs are still burning from doing crunches with weights....0 -

I did great with my workout today--NOT great with the eating. Grrr...I just can't seem to get my mouth under control. Seriously, trying to lose weight under constant stress is just so HARD!!! Grrr...0 -
