You Won't Believe it's Cauliflower Pizza Crust

1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower*
1 egg
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp fennel
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp parsley

**pizza or alfredo sauce

toppings (make sure meats are cooked)
mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 450 degrees Farenheit.

Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray.

In a medium bowl, combine cauliflower, egg and mozzarella. Press evenly on the pan. Sprinkle evenly with fennel, oregano and parsley.

Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes (15-20 minutes if you double the recipe).

Remove the pan from the oven. To the crust, add sauce, then toppings and cheese.

Place under a broiler (grill for the Europeans) at high heat just until cheese is melted **.

Sounds delish! Do we have any numbers on it? The crust itself at least? Cal, carbs, protein etc?

I made this tonight- it was delish!!! It would be good with thinly sliced moz cheese; however, I only had shredded pizza cheese. And then on top I added thinly sliced tomatoes, green olives, mushrooms, onions and then sprinkled on lightly some feta cheese. It was by far the best pizza crust I have ever had. Thank you so much for posting it. Oh...and I only used oregano and parsley since that's all I had for seasonings and it turned out just fine.

Hint - when I took the crust out, I flipped it before adding ingredients. Also, don't skip out on the parchment paper, as I have heard it can be a disaster without it from sticking. I heavily sprayed the parchment paper and had no problems with the crust. It was perfect.

    Thanks for posting!!!

    What is riced cauliflower?

Basically its blended raw cauliflower (so it looks like little bits of rice)

I've made this cauliflower pizza 3 times now already and its great! My boyfriend enjoys it as he loves pizza but we are botht trying to lose weight.
And for anyone out there that doesn't want to give it a go caus ethey don't like cauliflower it reallly DOESNT taste like cauliflower at all! He HATES cauliflower but he loves this! :)

Wow! Thanks for sharing. I am definitely going to make this. I sneak cauliflower into food often. Cauliflower and mashed potatoes is great, too. Just add the cauliflower for the last half of the potato cooking time and mash. You can add up to 50/50 cauliflower/potato and nobody will ever know this is anything other than potatoes. I usually add about 1/3 cauliflower.

This does sound delicious, but cauliflower is not carb free. So if you're on a low carb diet of around 20g per day, like me, this will eat up a big chunk of your daily allowance.

I made it and while it was good, it definitely didn't taste like regular pizza.
