Get your mind in the right place or you're going to fail. Successful weight loss and maintenance mostly happens in your head. The rest is as easy as calories and math.0

Moderate your expectations and actions. (Don't expect to weight every week, don't expect to lose all your weight quickly, don't cut your calories to the bare bottom, don't go from sedentary couch potato to a full out exercising 2 hours a day 7 days a week straight out of the starting gate.)

Eat all the food. Seriously, I was crippled by not knowing what to eat with all the conflicting diets and info. Once I accepted that I could just eat it all and count my calories, it was magic.0
