I work for a newspaper in NC. This is going on our front page. It's a really big deal. Officers have been injured, and there are rumors of gangs assembling to "take out" the police.

The people that suffer (along with people who get injured) are the owners of businesses who get looted. These people have nothing to do with Gray and get the brunt of opportunistic thieves.
Stay safe OP, but I do hope that there's a way to protect businesses out there.

I completely understand why people are so horribly mad,
but rioting doesn't solve anything. It harms innocent people.

I hope this doesn't become an excuse for thugs across the country, :disappointed:
and I hope that the good citizens in the area are ready to protect themselves effectively.
This is one reason why normal everyday people should be armed.

I don't know where you live, but get your 72 hour emergency kit together in a back pack in case you have to evacuate. Meds, clothes, ID, essentials. I would not go to the gym tonight. Hunker down and stay safe. Keep your weapons close and your family closer. God bless.
