Successes/struggles this week: YIPPEE!!! I reached my May 1st goal 2 days early. I didn't do anything special this week, yet the pounds literally fell off. The one major change is I, quite by accident, really curtailed my evening snack calories. I believe there were 3 evenings I had no evening snack and the rest of the evenings were probably under 150 calories in snacks. This wasn't done on purpose. I just didn't feel the desire to eat. I suspect that is the biggest success of the week.0 -

Successes/struggles this week: Happy to have lost anything given it's the start of TOM - exercised every day so that may have made the difference / feeling hungry often - including right now! so perhaps too many carbs & will try eating more nuts or other protein snacks. Also a bit more knackered in general the last couple of days, so not pushed through with exercising, so something might need tweaking. Probably my ears .

30th April: 95.0
Weight lost/gained this week: -1.0
Weight lost/gained this month: -2.3
Struggles this week: I lowered my overall calories. Although I always try to eat when I'm hungry and not aim for the numbers specifically, after losing 10 kgs I thought it was time for a number readjustment on the maximum. It's been a bit hard to stay in that goal on my active days.
I also have been eating out a bit- been working almost full time hours so my house is a mess (that's today's plan), and there's no food prepared (again, I'm going to be working my butt off today). So yeah been struggling with that. But still I feel pretty happy with my food choices when I'm eating out. I'm still making sure I'm being careful of my needs, and now avoiding things with lots of onions has seemed to make there be no after affect of eating out.
Successes:
I just kind of dropped like a stone since Sunday. It's nice. 2 kgs from my goal but meh, I'll get there. I'm really not fussed about when I get to my goal weight and that's made the whole losing nearly 50 kgs a bit easier mentally.
I've been running at work- literally. Yesterday I was pushing two munchkins in those little red cars, one on each side, and racing around and around with them. Did that for like 5-10 minutes and I was only slightly out of breath, which I actually feel was more because the air quality was low yesterday & my asthma playing up that because of exhaustion.0 -

Name: Strawberry
Age: 50
Height: 5'10"
MONTHLY THEME: Consolidation - After 84 days of hard core dedication to calorie restriction and exercise militancy I'm giving myself a plateau month before my body does it for me. A gentle easier month with only a small loss as the goal but continuing on with my positive attitude towards this journey.
Start Weight (1st April): 220.4
Goal Weight (1st May): 215.0
1st April: 220.4
8th April: 218.2
15th April: 216.9
22nd April: 215.6
29th April: 214.7
1st May:
Weight lost/gained this week: 0.9 loss
Weight lost/gained this month: 5.7
Successes/struggles this week 4: Another really struggle of a week. I've reached my monthly goal so YAYYYYY me but it has not been a cruisey time. I'm not sure what I have to do to get back into the zone where I'm really focused and it doesn't feel like a chore. I've eased back on the exercise a little alllowing my body to heal as everything was just hurting. I should be pumped but I just want to lay down and sleep and I don't even do that well!! I have to figured out a whole new exercise routine as the pool closed today.... Really have to give that some thought over the next couple of days..
Successes/struggles this week 3: I'm a bit late posting this (almost a week) even though it was another loss I still feel like I'm loosing ground. Strange sensation really. I feel heavier than when I started this journey though I'm 2 stone lighter. I think I'm emotionally heavier. I've lost my sense of joy. It's time for a shake up. That is what May will be with the pool closing and no more swimming I'm going to have to re-jig my exercise routine and this amy be exactly what I need...... And an injection of excitement and joy I need some fun!!!
Successes/struggles this week 2: Still feeling similar to last week. I'm having great days in my weeks but also crappy terrible hard days (like today) I'm really struggling to stay within my calorie allocation for the day. I have really slipped on eating well instead I'm eating crappy food but little bits so this may account for my general feelings of BLAH.. Improvements need here, Back to salads and healthy choices and we may see improvements in how I feel overall. Still a loss so glad about that. Though If I eat like I have since I got on the scales I'm thinking I'll see that trend reverse. I need a bit of a push.. Someone to light a fire cracker under my (still far too large) butt.
Successes/struggles this week 1: Everything is a struggle. Everything.. I'm tired and headachey and over all that is ***** in my life and I just want off the merry-go-round. Seriously. I wish I knew what triggers these bouts of feeling so crappy. I physically feel crappy, like I'm getting sick but never quite am. When I feel good I feel great but when I feel bad I feel soooo bad. I'm tired of the struggle. I'm just tired full stop.0 -
