Just started my 1200 calories a day diet how are u getting on ?

    I started out at 1300. But I'm using soylent and some real food. Not to hard to stay under 1300 but I feel like its not healthy foods.

    hey I'm on a 1300-1400 calorie diet started 2 weeks back, 1200 is a little difficult for me so I'm working out to loose ect calories.

    diet? it's not a diet. look at it like a diet and you might just fail. i call it a lifestyle. :)

    I've been doing this diet a couple of weeks now. I like recording what I eat. It helps keep me from over eating. I've lost 4 lbs so far.

    Thats one thing I noticed. Keeping track helps you eat less.

    Also not drinking pop was the biggest change so many calories and crap for pretty much nothing.

    It doesn't really even taste that great anymore.

    Yeah I miss my fizzy juice full sugar but getting used to the diet now and it's not to bad

    My grandma always had diet so I'd drink that when I was a kid and now I like the taste but I cut soda out completely.

    Just 90% of what I drink is water now.

    I could never do 1200 for more than a week before falling off the wagon. I do much better in the 1500 range. Yes, it takes longer, but if I quit or constantly overeat because I feel deprived for too long, then I'll never get there.

    1200 cal is not easy. I just need to remember to log, is easy to accidently over when I forgot I actually ate something. Best of luck everyone!
