Successes/struggles this week: 1 year ago today I was at my goal weight (135 lbs), however, major life stressors had me falling back on negative coping behaviors (namely eating). I've been finding it hard to get back on the fitness wagon. Hoping this challenge will motivate me, encourage me, and help keep me accountable! I wish you all a good journey!

I'm not exactly sure what happened but within this past 6 weeks I've gain almost 10lbs. I'm not sure if it's the food I've eaten, the lack of cardio in my exercise routine ( been doing lots of weights after not working out at all for months), or what. I am starting the feel that uncomfortable feeling you have when you're not comfortable in your own skin. I've worked hard to lose the weight I have and i'd love to be back down to where I was not even 2 months ago.... 174.
If anyone has any tips that'd be great! I'm starting with this challenge as I get back on the horse, so to speak.
Thank you!
Could be all of the above. Muscle weighs more than fat so that could be part of your gain. Plus getting too many calories in what you're eating. And cardio is a must! Cardio burns, weight lifting builds. What has worked for me in the past is eating complex carbs (not so many simple ones), lean proteins, decreasing saturated fats diet wise. And last time I was successful I did body weight exercises more than pumping iron. I think it toned and slimmed me. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Successes/struggles this week: Tonight, I'll be spending my first night apart from my fiance in several years. He's only going to be 2 hours away, but I have major anxiety and panic issues, so I don't know how I'm going to handle the situation. The challenge for me will be to not eat everything in sight in order to calm my nerves.0 -

I'm on a diet almost 2 months, and until last week I was doing well. I have lost 19.5 lbs in 50 days. But unfortunately, something went wrong, and my weight loss progress stopped. Four days had passed and my weight is same. I'm sure that I'm following my diet plan. I'm doing cardio, and weight lifting 7 days a week, and eating 1200 kcal per day. Also I'm using kitchen weight scale, so there is no chance to eat more than what I have planned. I'm really disappointed, because my weight loss progress has stopped. I think that I just hit the weight loss plateau. So I'm hoping that I'm going to break through this, and reach my goal weight which is 136 lbs.

Successes/struggles this week: I've struggled with losing weight all my life.I was 78 kg at 2010 but it was just for a short time . most of the time from 85 to 94kg and eating alot of junk. trying to run but have no energy even to go out at the last months. (at 2010 i ran a full marathon and i want to do it again). 5 km of running today is very very hard for me.
good luck!0
