    I have been thinking about the calories in mixers lately too. Last night I tried brandy with soda water - it was a bit meh, so I think I prefer it straight unless I see a better idea here!
    It may have been a little better with a squeeze of lemon or maybe some ginger infused soda water but for now I think that one will stay on the rocks.

    Bombay Sapphire Gin with soda water and a squeeze of lime juice or lemon juice is quite nice though

    bahahaha, I know many would prefer not to drink their calories, but I am not one of those people! I like to set aside some calories and have a glass of wine or captain morgan with diet soda. I never seem to have enough calories to mix with juice, but that's me. Cranberry juice is an excellent idea though - I might need to try that this weekend!

    My fav is (diet) Cranberry juice and Absolut vodka.

    This sounds right up my alley. I love anything with coconut and/or pineapple. So.... pina coladas! Right now I'm drinking a mojito I quickly concocted.

    I like the ideas for other types of alcohol for when I go out or something. I just usually get captain at home because my fiancé gets it for free all the time lol

    And quitting is definitely not an option.. I'm from Wisconsin :p

    I'm currently a little drunk on vodka + flavored water (Sparkling Ice from Walmart). It is sweetened with Splenda but doesn't taste like diet soda, and it comes in lots of flavors.

    I like most of those flavored waters! I can handle pretty much anything other than diet soda.. Something about that taste that diet soda has I just hate. I might have to start buying a smaller bottle of vodka for myself lol

    Release the Kraken! It also costs about as much as Captain (and taste so much better, I can't drink Captain anymore). I'm a fan also of Knob Creek's Smoked Maple Bourbon, I can also drink that straight, it's sweet enough for me.

    Unnecessary when you've mastered the art of chair dancing. Total upper body workout. Burns TONS of cals.
